About Felix Cruz
I came from Mexico to the US as an immigrant in 1984. Of course English is my second language. My goal was to work one year and go back to Mexico and get my degree from any university in Mexico City. Unfortunately, my lack of working experience and my limited English create a very challenging, but very rewarding experience in my life. When I realized that it would be difficult to go back to study in Mexico I started attending school after working hours in Bakersfield to learn English. I remember that many times when I was learning English my stomach was making noises because I was hungry. Fortunately, every effort creates a success.
