8. Eliminate the soda. Leave the soda and grab the water with lemon. Drinking too much soda increases your risk for obesity, erodes your tooth enamel, can lead to caffeinism and exposes you to all of the potential negative effects of the artificial sweeteners that are used to make these sweet concoctions. Plus, all that carbonation can leave you feeling bloated when you really want to feel light and thin!
9. Decrease your caffeine. Drinking too many caffeinated products can lead to caffeinism or caffeine intoxication. For those of you who are excessive caffeine drinkers, I would definitely wean yourself off of the caffeine. For example, if you are drinking six cups a day, I would decrease by one cup a day until you get to one cup daily.
10. Reduce your stress. Learning how to manage and eliminate stress will do wonders for your emotional well-being. Regular exercise like yoga, running, cycling, swimming, participation in group sports like volleyball, basketball or softball will provide a constructive outlet for dealing with the everyday pressures of life.
