3 Diana Nyad Inspired Ways To Live Your Dream
Diana Nyad just swam 110 miles in shark and jellyfish filled waters. What's holding you back?

3) You need a team to achieve your dream.  Nyad had assembled an ace team to help her with all aspects of reaching her dream.  She realized that what she did best was swim through shark and jellyfish infested water and that maybe things like hydration, nutrition, navigating, and storm watching were skills better left to experts in those areas.  With two miles left in her historic swim Nyad stopped, treaded water, and despite struggling with abrasions in her mouth (from the jellyfish mask) and swollen lips she insisted on thanking her team right then and there.

Many people tell me that they can achieve their dream on their own yet I see them fail time and again because they don’t have the right support system around them.   Surround yourself with people who are committed to you, are skilled and knowledgeable at what they do and put them to work to make your dream a team dream.

Not all of us dream of swimming from Cuba to Florida but most of us have an unrealized dream within us.  Isn’t it time to pull that dream out, dust it off, and start planning to make it a reality?  Nyad inspired the world with her tenacity why not let her inspire you to get to “the other shore?”
