3) You need a team to achieve your dream. Nyad had assembled an ace team to help her with all aspects of reaching her dream. She realized that what she did best was swim through shark and jellyfish infested water and that maybe things like hydration, nutrition, navigating, and storm watching were skills better left to experts in those areas. With two miles left in her historic swim Nyad stopped, treaded water, and despite struggling with abrasions in her mouth (from the jellyfish mask) and swollen lips she insisted on thanking her team right then and there.

Surround yourself with people who are committed to you, are skilled and knowledgeable at what they do and put them to work to make your dream a team dream.
