About Donna Hatch
Hello Everyone! My name is Donna Hatch and I am pleased with your interest in my profile. I have a PhD in Clinical Psychology, and a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work. I also have completed a post graduate training in Coaching and Consulting so can say I am a certified professional coach as well. I have assisted many individuals in a variety of settings to develop successful strategies and achieve more fulfilling personal and/or professional life experiences. My work has grown and developed over an 18 year period with experience in training, program development and implementation, workshop development, education and change management. My experience in different business sectors includes customer and employee relations, sales, utilization management, policies and procedures, administration and management and executive development. In addition, I have worked with, entrepreneurs, small businesses and non-profit organizations and have extensive experience within the health care industry.
I would describe my passion and expertise as working with individuals to identify their vision and increase their emotional commitment to obtaining their goals. I am passionate when helping people improve their self awareness and enjoy assisting individuals in developing a personalized plan to obtain a clear vision for their future.
For companies, I am very familiar with the psychology of organizations. I enjoy working with management to develop a clear and shared vision that all levels of personnel take ownership in. My experience is, in turn , this improves productivity, teamwork, communication and morale. Not only do I have the capability of understanding the complexities of an organization and how the dynamics within the organization can work effectively to realize a common goal, but I immensely enjoy the process of that journey. Through individual and group coaching sessions, I collaborate to identify ways to facilitate change in individuals and teams, building on personal and professional strengths to create a solid working foundation for the future.
I am not a stranger to the work as I have personally owned a private counseling as well as consulting company for ten years. I have first hand administrative experience and have worked to design, market, and implement programs, as well as, manage employees and ensure compliance with various regulatory agencies including the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO). I also have over ten years' experience and certificaions in administering various assessments and measurement outcomes.
I have served as an adjunct faculty for the College of Southern Idaho and Boise State University. I have a Master’s Degree from Walla Walla, University in Washington State and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, in Santa Barbara, California. I am also a certified professional coach through the College of Executive Coaching in Pismo Beach, California, and I am a member of the International Positive Psychology Association and the International Coaching Federation.
