This data was from a sugar daddy and sugar baby dating site, so for normal guys wanting a little sugar, and not a sugar baby, could get away with less than $218 in my survey-less, dating expert guesstimation.
The men who were not married, but were in committed relationships, spent the majority of their $203 on gifts for the lucky lady. Jewelry and perfume were probably on the list, and I hope these men in bought gifts because all of the other woman’s needs were completely fulfilled in affection, adoration, "I love you" and soulful gazes. Or maybe they bought gifts in hopes of receiving the biggest gift a woman can share with a man.
My now single guy friend, who was sick and tired of hearing about Valentine’s day, might not be single if his girlfriend would have told him how important Valentine’s Day was to her in the right way.
From what I gathered, she said everything in the wrong way, using words like “you never buy me anything for Valentine’s Day, you jerk!” And if she would have learned to communicate to her man in an effective simple way, their relationship may still be going on this February 14. Make this the year to learn what works with men and what doesn't.
Valentine’s day is filled with hope of new romance or bringing back that spark into a relationship that has been maybe a little less than sizzling.
