When a client comes to me with problems in their marriage, the first question I ask is "What do you really want?" Though the immediate response is typically "I don't know," the truth is that everyone has their answers inside themselves, they just don't have the tools to find the answer. A relationship coach can help!
Change in any relationships begins within yourself.

It can feel challenging to move toward what you most desire, especially if your tools in the past have been fashioned from criticism, pinpointing what was wrong and beating yourself up for failures. The voices of our inner critic is harsh and a bit mean spirited.
This is where you need to bring in the voices of others. That inner critic you've been living with isn't going to help you discover your next step. It definitely won't help lift you up when you're tired, frustrated and constantly staying busy in order to keep all feelings away.
We are so blessed to live in a day and age where help is in reach. You can order a book online or find one at your local library. You can get amazing advice from websites like YourTango. You can enroll yourself in an online class. You can hire a coach to help you peel away the layers and formulate a plan.
What I've observed from both men and women is that the quality of all your relationships improve when you create positive change from a place of love. Take a tiny courageous step. It is never too late to create a life you love.
