Welcome! I’m Dana Kinnard, a Professional Counselor and Certified Hypnotherapist. I have been working with individuals and couples for 15 years and like to think of my job as helping people find positive solutions to life’s problems. My philosophy is simple; “Change is hard but happiness is worth the effort”.
I believe you can live the life you want. I know that change is hard. But it is only through change that we learn to move away from those old ways of thinking, and feeling and acting that often make us feel bad about ourselves and create problems in our personal relationships. Do you ever ask yourself “why do I keep doing the same things over and over again hoping for a new result, or why do I seem to fight so much with the people I love”? When we focus on understanding ourselves and learn to recognize and ask for what we truly need then long lasting positive change becomes possible.
You see, when you begin to recognize that old negative internal dialogue and learn how to change it into positive self-talk the results can be quite dramatic. Soon you begin to feel a new sense of self, your personal relationships improve, you have a better understanding of yourself and others, you communicate more effectively and before you know it, your life feels better.
