Oscar Date Predictions for 7 Single Celebrities

It’s hard enough to go to a private party after a recent ex. What if you had to go to a public event which was being telecast live and were forced to be photographed at the entrance and asked hundreds of questions about your date or lack thereof? That’s exactly what many stars will be facing at this year’s Oscar ceremony. Here are some of my favorite famous singles this year. Jennifer Lawrence – This stunning young star stepped out on the red carpet without her boyfriend Nicholas Hoult who she met on the set of X-Men: First Class. Her plus one became a plus two when she was able to nab an extra ticket for both of her parents to accompany her instead. Still, this hasn’t stopped rumors that she is believed to be dating her sexy, Silver Linings Playbook co-star, Bradley Cooper.

Bradley Cooper – Though he was de-throned in November as People’s reigning Sexiest Man Alive, he still turned many heads stepping out on the red carpet without his ex-girlfriend Zoe Saldana this year. Not so fast though ladies, his seat at the Oscars has been promised to his mother, Gloria.
Jessica Chastain – This red-headed beauty has skyrocketed to stardom since her starring role in The Help. At this year’s Oscars, she’s nominated for her unbelievable performance in Zero Dark Thirty. She’s been so busy, in fact, that she claims she has no time at all for dating. The 35 year old says she likes to be wooed so if you think you have what it takes and can travel the globe with her, you might have a shot.
Jodie Foster – Despite their split in 2008, Jodie acknowledged her former partner, Cydney Bernard during her acceptance speech for the Cecil B. DeMille Award for Lifetime Achievement at the Golden Globes. Though she had her two sons in tow that night, after publicly announcing her sexual-orientation and single status, I bet we’ll be seeing her out with someone new soon.

Taylor Swift – After their very public PDA in Times Square on New Year’s Eve, Harry Styles and Taylor Swift had an equally public break-up. She also suffered a very public loss for Best Song at the Golden Globes to Adele. She’s been seen out recently with British singer Tom Odell so if she’s even invited to the Oscars, he might be her plus one.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt – One of my biggest celebrity crushes is always very mysterious about his love life. His performance at the Oscars will be a little mysterious too. He’s billed as making a “special appearance”…how intriguing. Whatever he’s doing and whoever he’s with, I can’t wait to see him on Oscar night.
