When You Are On Your Map
Being on the right map does not always mean smooth sailing. Sometimes the opposite is true.

The more aware you are, the more you catch yourself observing yourself in your own life, the better you will do. You have to become mindful of where you are, when you are, and who is guiding you. Then, you will find it much easier to change the repetitive landscapes and move forward.

Yes, I did just say you can change the Map of your past? Yes. When you slow down, you give yourself the space and power to rewrite and heal the stories in your heart. With this new clarity, you’re able to venture confidently into your future knowing that you can traverse similar landscapes without frustration.

Exercise:

Think about the people in your family. Who is a real supporter for you? Who do you admire? Who gets on your last nerve? Let yourself think of the person who annoys you. Ask yourself, how much does he or she annoy you on a scale of 1 to 10. The higher the better. Now think about it, who is measuring? Who is annoyed and who is observing you being annoyed. Can you feel annoyed separate from the person in your family. Breathe into your new awareness. Write about it in your journal.
