Meet "The Real" Megan Fox

As an actress, Megan Fox has taken on a variety of roles. She's been a teenage serial killer in Jennifer's Body, a mechanically-savvy love interest for Shia LaBeouf in Transformers, and a presumably promiscuous sex kitten for the public.

Um, what? Well, according to an Harper's Bazaar interview sampled by The Daily Mail, her "public persona as a highly sexed man-eater" is a myth.  Why Men Like Megan Fox

"My biggest regret," she says, "is that I've assisted the media in making me into a cartoon character. I don't regret what has happened to me, but I regret the way I have dealt with it."

An interesting statement when placed in context with her highly sexualized images in the accompanying photo shoot.

The reality of the situation, she says, is this: "I've only been with two men my entire life: My childhood sweetheart and Brian. I can never have sex with someone that I don't love, ever. The idea makes me sick. I've never even come close to having a one-night stand."One-Night Stand Rules

OK, OK, "whatever," we say. But she doesn't stop there. To prove her point she goes on to acknowledge the other man in her life, Brian's eight-year-old son Kassius, for whom she's "a stepmother to the fullest extent."

"For some reason, no one wants to look at me that way," she then laments, "but I am responsible for him and I've never struggled with that, from bedtime stories to the school run."

Is it just us, or is there something quite irksome about her general attitude?
