Finding love couldn't be easier with these five steps
3. Identify your deal breakers. Relationship requirements are those non-negotiable, black or white deal breakers. If they are missing in a relationship, watch out. A few examples of relationship requirements are: love children, love pets, mutual respect, addiction free, financial responsibility, shared spiritual/religious beliefs. If your relationship requirements are not met, you will have to leave the relationship sooner or later. No matter how committed you are or how much love you feel or how badly you want it to work, that relationship is not going to make it.
It's tough to examine a love relationship through the lens of the relationship requirement, but it's important. Be clear with yourself, don't apologize for your requirements and act accordingly.
4. Make a plan. A plan or roadmap will take you from where you are to where you want to be. By thinking at the start about where you want to end up, you will be able to define your dating boundaries and strategies. When you get to know someone who aligns with your core values and goals and is able to meet your needs and requirements, this plan will help you understand where and how you want to proceed.
And remember, every good plan includes an exit strategy. With a good plan, you will be able to say no to someone who does not meet your criteria. Being prepared to exit those dating situations when they occur will make the process easier and provide you with more confidence.
5. Take action. You are ready to look for and find your true love! The two main ways to find someone special is online or in person. Join two or three online dating sites that seem to have the type of person you are looking for in terms of age, religious beliefs, interests, etc. But don't leave it at that. When you are out and about, keep your antennae up.
There are good people out there looking for someone just like you, seeking true love and companionship. You simply need to know where to look. You can join groups aligned with your passion, volunteer at a favorite charity or try something you've never done before!
So. These five steps will help you stay focused on yourself, your goals and your future great match! Remember that your best bet for a long term, committed relationship is to find someone who shares your similar core values, life goals and common interests and can meet your relationship needs and requirements
