Christine Arylo is an inspirational catalyst and the leading self-love expert for today’s woman. An m.b.a. and former marketing executive, Christine traded in building images for big brands like Gap and Visa to teach women how to break free from the images they feel pressured to fit into.

A self-admitted, but recovering, achievement junkie and doing addict, Christine is a teacher, writer, coach, speaker, and sought-out expert with the media on the topic of today’s woman and her struggles with life and love. Entertainment, CBS, ABC, and FOX, over 100 radio programs, and in publications like the San Francisco Chronicle and the Daily Om.

When not talking or writing, you can find her teaching her “Dare to Be Loved” and “Feminine Super Power” power-shops around the country. But is wasn't always this way... In 2001, Christine was walloped with a ‘universal 2x4’ to the soul, a.k.a. her fiancé announced, on the way to their engagement party, that he didn't love her or want to marry her. Most would have crumpled into devastation right there. Not Christine. There was a party to go to, an image to uphold and to that party they went… pretending through the toasts that everything was AOK. Of course, pretending only worked til the party ended and then Christine had to face the reality that her life as she knew it was over, and she had to accept the painful fact that she had betrayed herself in order to keep a man and live up to an image – rising marketing executive, social butterfly, smart cookie and woman in control.

Fast forward nine years, after a plethora of spiritual adventures, a good dose of therapy and a total rewiring of how she understood the world, and you’ll find today a woman who turned her life around and found the life she really wanted. In 2008, Christine launched Madly in Love with ME, www.madlyinlovewithme.com, a self-love movement that includes an international self-love holiday (Feb 13th) and free self-love offerings on its website.

She is the co-founder of Inner Mean Girl Reform School, where women come to transform their inner critics into inner superheroines. Christine lives in the Bay Area with her soul partner Noah.

The Reason I Became A Helping Professional

After almost creating a marriage and life that I didn't really want... waking up to what my heart and soul really did want... and then watching all of my girlfriends - smart, accomplished, savvy women - try to do the same, I had to do something. I realized that NONE of us truly loved ourselves. Self-esteem? Sure, we knew we could do, be and have anything. Self-love? No way. Stuck in unhappy relationships. Looking for love and never finding it. And basically emotionally retarded and scared to death of vulnerability when we actually managed to find a good guy. That was the story for most of us, because we never got the self-love handbook!

So I wrote it and now teach it. I've been in a relationship in which I was lonelier than at any other time in my life. So I have experienced that longing for deep partnership, and made all the mistakes along the way. Luckily, when my life fell apart when my fiance called off our engagement, I realized that I had to fall in love with ME, and I had to make a vow to myself to never settle again. With that promise, I eventually met my soul partner, Noah - who I call walking love. He taught me what an intimate, loving, trusting, dynamic partnership could be. We have the kind of marriage and partnership that too many people only dream of. And I feel compelled to teach what makes that possible. No matter how much money you have, how pretty you are, or how accomplished, the truth is we ALL want to be deeply loved. And that is why i do what I do... to help people open to receive that deep unwavering love.
