About LiYana Silver

LiYana Silver, CHC, RYT, MaNLP

"...intensely real and human, a woman who has learned to alchemize all her scary stuff and turn it into a sunshine lightning bolt of self-actualizing awesome."

When the inner nudge (or whallop upside your head) tells you it's time to reignite, redefine and redesign your relationship for the 21st Century, here's a healthy serving of some bold, fresh guidance to make it doable. For women and their partners who want to step out of painful patterns and relationship ruts and step into partnerships that are strong, sexy, sweet, sane and built to withstand the pressures of the 21st Century ... welcome.

Bringing over 10 years of expertise, LiYana helps alchemize the seemingly complex and insurmountable stumbling blocks of human relating into the bricks and mortar of juicy, pliable, strong-like-bull partnerships. With some dollops of hope, sizzle, respect and delight on top.

LiYana maintains a private practice as a Relationship Coach, speaks nationally, lectures in corporations and colleges, has appeared on dozens of radio and TV shows, maintains her webiste and business, http://www.love3point0.com (cuz 1.0 and 2.0 aren't working so well!) and writes for various blogs and magazines.

LiYana received certification as a Holistic Health Counselor from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, is a Registered Yoga Teacher through the Yoga Alliance, is a Certified Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Patterning through NLP Marin, and received her BA from SUNY Purchase. She has taught business coaching to entrepreneurs and small business owners, in private practice and also through the Golden Gate School of Feng Shui in California and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York.

LiYana has had the great fortune to study with and stand on the shoulders of many a great ancestor. Her background includes training and in-depth study in holistic nutrition and wellness, Vinyasa yoga, Vipassana mindfulness meditation, Re-Evaluation Counseling, child developmental psychology, Neo-Reichian and Neo-Freudian modalities, Neuro-Linguistic Patterning and the Family Systems and Constellations work of Bert Hellinger. She pays grateful homage to the life's work of David Deida, Carl Buchheit and Michelle Masters of NLP Marin, Kassy Shecklehoff and all the teachers of Morehouse, Regena Thomashauer (aka Mama Gena), Riane Eisler, Esther Perel, Dr. Patricia Taylor, Dr. Christiane Northrup, Joshua Rosenthal of Integrative Nutrition, Landmark Education, Osho, Dolano, Anthony Robbins and her own extraordinary parents.

Fun, somewhat related tidbits: for the ten years prior to her work in the field of relationships and intimacy, LiYana was a professional modern dancer for over 10 years, touring throughout the US and Europe, most notably with the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company in Israel and the Metropolitan Opera Ballet in New York City. Before landing her big break, she inhaled enough second-hand smoke to kill a small horse while bartending in Alphabet City and somehow managed to not get fired for spilling orange juice on Monica Lewinsky at a 5-star brunch joint in SoHo. LiYana studied art in Siena, Italy and her oil paintings have been displayed upon gallery walls as far uptown as Lincoln Center and as far downtown as an East Village tattoo store. She leaves singing to the professionals, save for showers and the occasional solo car ride. LiYana speaks fairly good Dutch, a decent amount of Italian and just enough French to have an incendiary conversation about love, yet stay out of jail.
