I believe that every person on the planet is struggling to find their place and purpose. For some, finding that purpose is easy and carefree. For others, past experiences, a body out of balance, or toxic relationships can make it feel almost impossible to find peace and purpose. Realistically, most of us fall into that second category to some degree. Although I am a licensed therapist and able to diagnosis and treat mental illness, I believe the majority of us are not mentally ill- we are just a little (or a lot) lost on our path. I love meeting with people and finding out about who they are now, and who they hope to be. I join with my clients in finding the hidden obstacles that keep them from reaching their goals and crushing those obstacles. I love seeing my clients blossom (even men blossom) into someone whole, at peace, and connected with their greater purpose.

The Reason I Became A Helping Professional

I have always loved helping people. Initially, I thought counseling would be all about prescribing a particular behavior, or giving advice... I very quickly learned that change is a process. Getting the answer is not always as important as the process that we take to get to the answer. More importantly, I may not know the perfect answer, or there may not be a perfect answer.

I am absolutely honored that people trust me to walk along side them on their path for a time and trust me with their secrets. I love laughing with my clients, crying with my clients, and sometimes, being angry with my clients.
