With training from Coach University and accreditation through the International Coach Federation, I provide life coaching, career coaching, business coaching, and executive coaching.
Since I began as a life coach, my practice has included nonprofit executives, creative professionals, entrepreneurs/small business owners, health care practitioners, a corporate consultant, a published author, stay-at-home moms, a new coach, and more.
While many people come to life coaching looking for someone with their exact background, good coaching skills prove far more important in helping you achieve your goals. I would encourage you to contact me for a sample session to gauge my coaching skills for yourself.
With that said, I have an extensive background in the nonprofit sector. I have served as chief of operations for a nonprofit, and I have spent 18 years in various communications and fundraising writing capacities.
I coach part-time and I maintain a part-time business as a communications and fundraising writing consultant. I have run a successful consulting business since 2001. I hold a bachelor's degree from the New School for Social Research.
I very much enjoy working with people who are motivated to create change in their personal and/or professional lives.
The Reason I Became A Helping Professional
Before I became a life coach, I had been informally coaching people for years. It is something that comes very naturally to me and for which I have a great gift.
I coach people because I understand, from personal experience, having lack of clarity, being disempowered, and feeling undervalued. I have spent years working on myself to a point where I feel clear, empowered, and certain of my value.
I love helping others along their journeys toward clarity, empowerment, and understanding their true value.
