My journey to find love
Cathy writes about her husband's battle with heartburn, and how the couple overcame the dreaded acid reflux to begin to enjoy their life again.
My take on why there's no shame in turning to the internet to find love.
My boyfriend and I had been drinking at a friend's house, and we crashed on the futon. There was a guy laying on the floor next to me, who kept reaching up and playfully touching me. The touching turned into sucking on each other's fingers which turned into.... to read more, comment, or anonymously post your own story check out cheatconfession
As always, you can follow my journey on my personal blog, So about what I said... I’ve never shared The list of 20-some odd traits I wrote when I was 17 and searching for my Prince Charming. Well, I drudged that old list out from my diary.... Turns out it was 12 traits, not 20, and they're pretty boring. I was actually a little disappointed.
Mel Gibson was heard, on tape, ranting about his lady-companion's breasts looking awful and not sexy. He wanted her to have them removed. Also he questioned how she could breast-fed their baby girl with false material implanted in her chest. Well, ladies, I believe many more men than you realize think women are foolish for wanting to look like inflated water devices rather than who they really are, physically speaking. Sexuality is not fakery and looking like a tart. It is simply looking softly and genuinely feminine. We must not think that it is necessary to use plastic surgery as a means to improve our desirability. Do you also think that getting larger lips (on the face) is attractive? Quite the contrary, darlings. They too were meant to be soft and pliable! So, be yourself and appreciate exactly what you have, whether large or small.
Note: As always, follow my journey on my personal blog, So about what I said... On a sweltering day in early August 1996, I lay curled up in my bed, my leg in a big metal frame with pins shooting every which way and trying to recover from the surgery I’d had a month earlier. Now, I’m not sure if I was still woozy and out of it from the anesthesia or just plain bored, but that afternoon, I proclaimed, in all seriousness mind you, to my trusty diary that (and I’m quoting word-for-hopeless-word here) “I can see myself spending the rest of my life with him.” The him I was referring to was obviously Crush Boy (see previous columns), but C’MON!! I HAD JUST TURNED 15. What in the heck was I thinking?. Back then, I wish I’d had a handy-dandy checklist like some of the detailed ones you find online these days to see if he is indeed The One.
