Nicole Richie began dating DJ A.M. in 2003 and the couple got engaged in 2005. After a 10-month engagement, the two split. They briefly rekindled the romance in 2006 before Richie moved on to reality show star Brody Jenner. In 2007, Richie began dating musician Joel Madden from Good Charlotte. Richie gave birth to her and Madden's first child—daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden—on January 11, 2008. On September 9, 2009, Richie gave birth to her and Madden's second child, a boy named Sparrow. In February 2010, she and Madden announced their engagement and are rumored to be having a winter wedding.
