Kate and John Gosselin filed for divorce in June, 2009.
Kate Gosselin met her husband Jon at a friend's picnic in October 1997. She has said, about meeting Jon, "I never believed in 'love at first sight', but this came really close." The couple were married at a friend's Pennsylvania home on June 12th, 1999. After finding out that she suffered from Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Kate and Jon started fertility treatments. The result was eight children—one set of twins and one set of sextuplets. Kate and Jon's marriage and family life are chronicled on TLC's reality TV show, Jon & Kate Plus 8. In 2009, the couple's marriage was put under the microscope after reports of Jon's cheating surfaced in the media. Later that year the couple filed for divorce.
