After Katie Holmes married Tom Cruise in 2006, the world watched with baited breath for signs of a brainwashed bride. Relax, folks, the girl has a backbone. Going against her husband's expressed Scientological wishes, Katie enrolled their three-year-old daughter Suri last week in a Catholic pre-school.
It looks like ABC's late night host may be emulating legend and major influence David Letterman. Reportedly the host of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Jimmy Kimmel, is dating the co-head writer of the late-evening talk show. Molly McNearney is the lady's name and rumor has it that the two keep it strictly "show business" on the set and save the "show friends" and "show lovers" for after, and likely before, hours. A pretty good office romance policy.
The love triangle: it's often used as a plot device in our favorite movies and TV shows because of the irresistible drama created by a character torn between two lovers. However, with the recent David Letterman sex scandal and rumors swirling about Justin Timberlake's alleged double duty with Jessica Biel and Rihanna, we're reminded that, in Hollywood, these sticky situations happen just as often off-screen as on. Did we mention she got married?
We always suspected that underneath Marge Simpson's dowdy exterior was a blue-haired wildcat waiting to run loose. The animated wife and mother of three will appear in Playboy's November issue, on sale October 16. Not only is Marge going to be the November cover girl, but she's also getting a three-page spread! And, sorry to disappoint Mr. Burns, but Marge will not be baring all. Instead, the pictorial will feature "implied nudity" and shots of the former Ms. Bouvier in sexy lingerie. Hmm...wonder if she'll take off or leave on her trademark pearls?
Correct us if we're wrong, but didn't Avril Lavigne build her pop-punk empire upon the stones of anti-preppy angst? So what is this we hear about her recent hook ups with sleazy oil heir Brandon Davis and heir to Dole Food Company, Justin Murdock—both most assuredly the epitome of prepster privilege and arrogance?
Here are five famous couples and what we'd like to see them play at their lavish destination weddings.
The latest rumors have Justin Timberlake and Rihanna spending copious amounts of time together. As you may recall, they've done some work with each other and rumor has it the video for "Rehab" was too sexy and too chemistry-y for Jessica Biel's tastes. But the latest greatest on the Biel-Timberlake deathwatch is that Rihanna and JT are just friends.
