Nick Cannon reportedly filed for divorce from Mariah Carey on Dec 12. Carey was reportedly sick of Cannon's wandering eye, and Page Six reported that the self-proclaimed Elusive Chanteuse kicked his cheating behind to the curb in August, and even had hired extra security to keep him away from other girls.
Reese Witherspoon was nominated for Best Actress in the 2015 Oscars for her portrayal of Cheryl Strayed in her newest movie, Wild. Wild is a true story, based off the book of the same name, about a 26-year-old girl who hikes 1,200 miles (about three months) on the Pacific Crest Trail alone
2015 Best Picture nominee The Theory of Everything is based off of the book Stephen Hawking's first wife wrote, Travelling to Infinity: My Life With Stephen. While many people just think of Stephen Hawking as a brilliant cosmologist, the movie shows the adorable love story between Jane Wilde and Stephen. The couple met very shortly before he was diagnosed with ALS. Although the movie version may be somewhat different to real life, in the movie they meet at a party and almost immediately fall in love.
If you don't know them already, get ready to meet your future girl crushes. Abbi and Ilana are the greatest female comedy duo since Amy and Tina. We mean it! The two friends are back on Comedy Central tonight (!) with the premiere of the second season of their hit show Broad City. Originally launched as a web series in 2009, Amy Poehler used her magic to bring this special show to TVs everywhere in 2014. All praise, Amy!
Rock god and guitarist Slash and his wife Perla, who've been married for over a decade, are splitting. Does this story sound familiar? That's because it is. The couple split before, only to get back together for several years. They've broken up again, with Slash filing for divorce, and things might be getting ugly as they divide assets.
These days, dorky is in. Everyone loves to love dorks. When I was a kid, being weird and awkward was awful and people hated you more than you deserved. Now, it's hip and cool and people find you more interesting than you really deserve. (Life is a weird carnival ride sometimes.) Probably the most famous face of the awkward movement is Zooey Deschanel. She's always been kind of a quirky actor and played weird roles, but it wasn't until she got her own TV show that she really let her awkward flag fly.
You can hear the theme song in your head, Ron Swanson's voice makes you feel calm and you don't even need to be watching the TV to know exactly what is happening. These are a few signs that you have an addiction to Leslie Knope, the parks department and everything else that goes along with Pawnee, Indiana. The farewell season of Parks and Recreation is here and you probably can't even handle the idea of saying goodbye to Andy, April, Donna and everyone else.
I don't know if you've ever noticed this before, but Hollywood is full of creepy dudes. It seems like, for some unexplainable reason, actors refuse to admit that they've grown old. They keep dating younger people, no matter how gross and creepy it is. I'm not trying to say that love can't cross generations, but also, no it can't.
Find out why we can't wait for Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to co-host the 2014 Golden Globes!
Madonna is no stranger to controversy, because duh. The pop icon courts and invites drama because she's Madonna, and she's earned that right through her storied, game-changing career. However, the latest criticisms dropped at her door are pretty hefty. She has been posting altered images of icons — Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Nelson Mandela, Lady Gaga and Princess Diana, to name a few — on her Instagram account, featuring rope drawings on their faces.
