It's been less than 48 hours since Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum made their engagement official on The Bachelorette. So what does a couple do after such a big announcement? Go on a press tour, of course.
Not everything smells like roses! Take a look at Ashley Hebert's most humiliating debacles from the just-concluded season of The Bachelorette.
Ashley Hebert picked strong, cool J.P. over sensual, vulnerable Ben. I for one was surprised. I felt the vibe between Ashley and Ben was the strongest. Her feelings for J.P. never sold me. Creative editing can steer the feel of the series and I am sure that is part of the drama of this final rose ceremony. Made me wonder about her again. Do you see a pattern with Brad, Bentley and now J.P.?
Bachelorette Ashley decides who gets the final rose, and her family speaks out about the bachelors.
This week, Ben, Constantine and JP hit up Fiji to further woo their lady. But they're not alone. After a brief recap of the last three standing, Ryan shows up out of the blue to make one last play for Ashley's heart. He sits her down and talks her ear off in an attempt to rekindle a spark. Ashley’s flame, however, might be decidedly snuffed. So she tells Ryan that she'll think about it, and shuffles him out the door. The Bachelorette Episode 8: Hometown Dates And Heartbreak
Emily Maynard as the next Bachelorette? Heck yeah! Any ABC reality show aficionado knows the drill—the next Bachelor or Bachelorette is always a cast off from the previous cycle. This season's silver medal is Ashley Herbert, whom thanks to Bentley, has brought nothing but nonstop drama, mental breakdowns and tears to the rose-wrangling gig.
It appears that the final rose petals have dried up and fallen off for Brad Womack and Emily Maynard, who've finally come clean about their breakup after months of ambiguity and denial. In a Jake and Vienna-style move, the petite blond will speak publicly about their split on an upcoming episode of The Bachelorette in hopes that she and 6-year-old daughter Ricki "can move on and get back to normal."
There's no doubt that ABC's The Bachelor and The Bachelorette are addictive, soapy fun. The formula works: Each week the star further narrows a group of potential love interests, interacting with them in various contexts, from traditional dates to overnight stays in the "fantasy suite." At least, it works as a TV show; its track record for producing successful relationships is dismal.
As per usual, last night's The Bachelorette did not disappoint. The bachelors roast Ashley and it's a bloodbath. I'm not sure who I felt worse for: Ashley or the audience that had to endure such awful comedy. All of the bachelors are terrible, making small-boob jokes and such, but no joke cut as deep as when William steps up to the mic and completely tears Ashley a new one. What does the not-so-funny man say? Um, basically: "I wish you were Emily. You suck. And you have small boobs."
Oh, Ashley, what have you gotten yourself into? In the first 30 seconds of last night's "Bachelorette," we see Ashley possibly getting married to one guy in Vegas while seeing another guy admit he has zero interest in his Bachelorette—other than in her tight butt.
