Young Alice Johnson is just off of a breakup with her boyfriend Peter Cooper. And she's decided to start a Electronic Picture Diary (a web cam to you and me) to chronicle her new dating life. Her first adventure involves a visit to the Apple store to try to meet a fella.
Alice and Timmy are back with more relationship advice for Facebook.
We produced a video about Facebook manners and dating rules last year that completely took off. There is literally not a household in America that doesn't know the names Alice and Timmy. Despite the video's ominous ending, we felt the Alice and Timmy story wasn't over. To that regard (and because we LOVE the idealized 1950s), we've created a 14-part video series about how Alice and Timmy met and what technology SHOULD have been like 50 years ago. Check us out on Facebook to see the WHOLE story.
Timmy Gordon thinks his apology should beget apologies from others.
Hello. The staff of the World Wide Website YourTango dot com have graciously given me the opportunity to tell my side of the story about Alice Johnson fake-out. I have already apologized to Alice and all of her cronies on the Facebook electronic friendship generator. I admitted to being a goof and totally gooping up the works. When a fella admits to being a real nosebleed, everyone is supposed to say, "Hey buddy, you're OK in my book, we all make mistakes." I have not heard much of that, especially not from Alice Johnson.
A look at the cast, crew and props that made Timmy Gordon and Alice Johnson come to life.
YourTango's "Facebook Manners And You" video has become a viral hit, so we thought we'd tell you a little bit about how we made it. Styled as a 1950s-era instructional film, the video chronicles the rule-breaking breakup of Timmy Gordon and Alice Johnson on Facebook, the "electric friendship generator." These two completely ignore Facebook etiquette, and boy do they ever pay the price!
