Recently, dating and social media site Cheaterville released a survey of its users on the topic of hair color and cheating. The website is a place where you can publicly call out cheating partners — their slogan is "Don't be the last to know" — and see names of others who have cheated. According to their results, hair color seems to play a role in how likely you are to cheat.
As a marriage and family counselor I am always dealing with issues of sexuality, infidelity, and betrayal as well as intimacy, honesty, courage, and integrity. A rash of recent public scandals – from Tiger Woods to David Letterman, from Sen. John Ensign to Gov. Mark Sanford, to the suspected shenanigans of Jon Gosselin of reality TV's Jon and Kate – might make it seem that sexual infidelity is sweeping the land. Many of my clients want to know how to prevent an affair. Here’s what I tell them.
I'll never forget that moment. I was standing in my cute, little, suburban kitchen holding my sweet, 4-month-old baby girl with her back against my chest, pudgy little legs dangling in front of me, smiling at her dad, when he looked away from her precious face and into my adoring eyes, mouthing the words, "I have feelings for someone else."
This week's hot Hollywood news is that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart may be getting back together following her "indiscretion" with director Rupert Sanders ... and why not? An affair doesn't have to be the end of a relationship. In fact, it can be a new beginning, bringing a couple closer than ever.
It may be something you really don't want to think about, but it's absolutely true: there are good liars and bad liars, and all sorts of in-between liars. By that I don't mean liars who are good people, I mean they are good at lying, and vice versa. When it comes to recognizing a cheating husband, it all depends on which part of the liar spectrum your particular liar lands on.

A Navy commander has been caught for faking his death to avoid the consequence of having an affair and impregnating that woman. 19 things to love about August. The most common regrets of divorcees. Funny failed proposals. The tattoos that men shouldn't have if they want to date women. Is Jennifer Aniston too old for marriage? Gonorrhea may be uncurable. Stop making him your nanny. Why sharing a bed with a guy is nicer than getting sleep. Are you still in love with him? Babies steal men's friends.
Strange things happen to the best of us when our sense of relationship security is challenged. Suddenly, you are bombarded with thoughts and feelings that have you spinning with suspicion and mistrust. In the worst of cases, even the most rational among us might resort to highly uncharacteristic, even objectionable behavior that brings out the worst in us. And typically, no matter what the truth turns out to be, this does not bode well for the efficacy of the relationship. 3
Times are tight; the economy has placed tremendous amounts of pressure on families. It seems like the "I Love Lucy" days where the wife stayed home and was able to rear her children are over. What happens when a couple has had enough of the immediate refuge and is tired of talking about their issues over and over to a licensed therapist? The couple who is not ready for the financial burden of a divorce may turn to swinging.
Sorry Robsten fans, it's not looking good. The day after Kristen Stewart issued a very public apology for hooking up with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders, we're now hearing her boyfriend Robert Pattinson has moved out.
Are you about to lose your partner? Do you suspect or actually know that he or she has had an affair or is engaged in one presently? Oh, my! I don’t envy you: this is one of the most difficult, shaking – upsetting feelings! It makes us so vulnerable, and leaves us feeling so belittled and betrayed. There is so much anger that we could rant and rave.
