Are Teen Mom OG Amber Portwood and her baby daddy Andrew Glennon engaged? Rumors began over an Instagram post.
On Instagram, Amber posted a picture of herself thanking Sophia Porter Makeup for doing an awesome job on her makeup and haircut while on her way to E! News. Not only does she show off her makeup and new haircut, she shows us her hand with a ring which sparked rumors of an engagement.
It was officially confirmed by Radar Online that the couple was not engaged — the ring was just a gift from Andrew. However, a source close to the couple revealed that they aren't engaged yet, so our fingers crossed that they will get engaged soon!

1. He is a father to Amber's son.
On May 2018, Amber shared on Instagram a photo of her daughter and their newborn son, James Andrew Glennon.
The couple got together after Amber dumped Matt Baier when she learned some troubling things about his past. Not only were there rumors of cheating and warnings from his ex-girlfriends that Amber should stay away, but he also allegedly had multiple secret kids and open child support cases.
Let's hope Andrew comes with none of that noise.
2. He works on television.
According to Andrew's IMDB page, he works in the camera department and as a cinematographer for a few short films.
3. They met on the set of Marriage Boot Camp.
According to a source of E! News, the couple first met while on set. Andrew was working on set, while Amber was a castmate.
An insider revealed to them that Amber's relationship with Matt; her ex-fianceé, "was in bad shape." And that it made sense for Amber to grow close to Andrew because of the heightened emotions the show brought out the couples on the show.
4. He has over fifty thousand followers on Instagram.
Ever since getting together with Amber, his social media has grown to have more than 300 posts. He even became verified on Instagram.
His account mainly focusses on his son and family life.
5. He struggled with alcohol and depression.
Back in September 2017, Andrew revealed to Radar Online that after the diagnosis of both of his parents having cancer, he was emotionally not stable. After the loss of his father, he became very depressed and drank a lot to combat the grievance for his father.
“I have been through so much pain in my life,” Glennon said. “My father was diagnosed with prostate cancer while my mother was fighting breast cancer. I prepped myself to potentially lose both of my parents. My mother survived, but my father did not.”
“Depression, drinking and throwing my heart through any open door,” he said. “It nearly cost my life.”
6. He has a restraining order from his ex-girlfriend.
According to Radar Online, Andrew was hit with a restraining order from a girlfriend he dated for three years back in October of 2013.
“In May, he showed up uninvited and after I asked him to leave he secretly let the air out of my tire till it was flat,” the unidentified ex-girlfriend wrote in the protective order. “On my birthday, [he] showed up at my work under a false name delivering flowers. Security at my work turned him away.”
The ex-girlfriend also claimed that Andrew “threw rocks at my window and smiled and laughed when he saw me look.”
Her restraining order was granted for three years and expired in 2016. Andrew said the order was taken "out of context" and that there is "so much more to these accusations."
However, he was hit with another restraining order in 2015 by a woman he only dated for two months.
"Since breaking up with him, I have received hundreds of emails, phone calls, text messages and Facebook messages from him harassing me,” the second order reads. “He has shown up at my work, home and the bus stops I take to and from work as well.”
The second order was dissolved and the case was dismissed in June of 2015. Andrew said he hasn't harassed anyone.
"I have three sisters and would never consider stalking nor harassing any women. In hindsight, I should have contested the first one (didn’t know about the second).”
