Out of all the Kardashian relationships, the one between Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna must be the most drama-ridden. The couple has been raising eyebrows since they first got together in January 2016.
Although the relationship seemingly started out as rainbows and butterflies with cute Instagram posts of the couple, an engagement, and a baby, it's lately spiraled into a toxic disaster. In more recent times, their pairing has been filled with turmoil — perhaps more so than basically every other Kardashian couple. And that's saying something considering the Kardashians are very well-known for their various relationship spectacles.
Unlike the ups and downs of most other relationships in the Kardashian clan, Rob and Blac Chyna's has only kept going further downhill, especially with the most current sex tape and revenge porn allegations.
So let's take a look at some of the most cringe-worthy, troubling details regarding Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna's relationship.
1. Blac Chyna has a son with Kylie Jenner's ex, Tyga.
Blac Chyna and Tyga share a 4-year-old son, King Cairo. They broke up in 2014 and the rapper soon began a relationship with Kylie Jenner (who was only 17 at the time) not long after. This strange "love triangle" has always been a main topic of discussion when it comes to Kardashian's relationship with Blac Chyna. Chyna was also friendly with Kim K., but their BFF status changed after Kylie and Tyga's relationship became public knowledge.
To make matters even stranger, Kardashian's other sister, Khloe once joked very lightly about the family's unusual dynamics. "It’s fun! It’s, like, really fun this way,” she said. “It makes, I think, our holidays a little more concise.” Obviously, Khloe never got the memo about not bringing your drama to the dinner table.
2. They got engaged after only 4 months of dating.
In the first few months of their relationship, everything seemed to be on fast forward. Kardashian and Blac Chyna began dating in January 2016 and were engaged by April. If that wasn't mind-boggling enough, Blac Chyna announced her pregnancy just a month later in May. And just six months later in November, the baby was born.
3. The couple's breakup was very bitter.
Their seemingly happy romance story quickly faded. It's never been completely clear when exactly the couple parted ways. While official reports have stated it happened in summer 2017, Blac Chyna herself has said that she and Kardashian were broken up since December 2016, which would have only been a month after their baby was born. Since then, their relationship has been a back-and-forth bitter battle.
Kardashian seemed resentful of Blac Chyna and their relationship after that and was constantly making horrifying public accusations towards his baby mama. He claimed that Chyna cheated on him throughout the relationship, that she had problems with drugs and alcohol, and that she abandoned her children to party and be with other men.
Blac Chyna has had her own share of accusations against Kardashian. She blamed him for ruining her public image, which resulted in financial issues for Chyna. She has said that it cost her thousands of dollars in business ventures and endorsements.
Blac Chyna also accused Kardashian of domestic abuse and was granted a restraining order against him. She said that she was scared to be near Kardashian. She stated that "Rob has been violent with me in the past and I am afraid to be around him."
4. Rob Kardashian's depression may have affected their relationship.
Kardashian's struggles with weight problems are hardly new, but he also suffers from depression. He's also known for being reclusive at times and most recently has isolated himself from everything. There are even claims that he no longer cares about anything in life aside from his daughter.
A source said: "[Rob is] in a sad state. He only cares about Dream and loves spending time with her, but that's about it. He doesn't seem excited about anything else. [He is] still struggling with his health."
5. Kardashian posted revenge porn of Blac Chyna.
In July 2017, Kardashian posted explicit photos of Chyna on his Instagram. Instagram quickly shut down his page after this, prompting Kardashian to continue his tirade on Twitter, which also eventually removed the photos. Chyna then fired back at Kardashian on her Snapchat. "I’m supposed to be quiet because you’re a Kardashian,” she claimed on Snapchat. “The light will come to the light.”
This took the former couple's feud to a whole new level — an illegal one. Since they both live in California, there is a law against posting intimate photos and videos of another person without their consent. It is known as the anti-revenge porn law and if Chyna were to take him to court about it, Kardashian could have possibly faced up to six months in prison.
6. Blac Chyna sued the Kardashians.
Chyna did end up taking Rob Kardashian, as well as the rest of the Kardashians, to court for the photo incident. Chyna stated that Kardashian's social media tirade, in addition to the influence of the entire Kardashian family, is what caused the cancellation of her reality show Rob & Chyna. Chyna named the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan in her lawsuit.
In January 2018, the case was dismissed citing Chyna's restraining order and the fact that she didn't have an enforceable contract as the reasons why it was dropped.
7. Kylie Jenner and Rob Kardashian sued Chyna in 2017.
In September 2017, Rob and Kylie sued Chyna for vandalism, battery, and assault after Kardashian and Chyna got into a messy argument at Kylie's house. They also attacked Chyna's character in the complaint, stating that she only went after Rob and the rest of the Kardashians for financial purposes. Jenner also cited $100,000 in damages to her home in the case.
However, Chyna's sources claimed that the fight was completely made up in order to distract from Kardashian's use of revenge porn against Chyna earlier that year. “It makes sense on their part to come up with a counterclaim for the very real claim made against him,” the source said. “Revenge porn, posting naked pictures to 9 million people across the world,” the source continued. “None of that compares to an altercation that they got into at Kylie’s house. They’re so miles apart and it really distracts from the real sexual and domestic abuse that took place.”
8. A Blac Chyna sex tape leaked.
In February 2018, a sex tape was leaked online of Blac Chyna with an unknown male, but Chyna herself had nothing to do with it. The tape was immediately declared a criminal matter and Chyna enlisted the police to investigate how the tape got out. According to TMZ, Chyna's attorney Lisa Bloom tweeted about the case, "Revenge porn -- posting explicit images without the consent of everyone in those images is a crime, a civil wrong, and a form of domestic abuse. It's also a way to try to slut shame women for being sexual. Girls have killed themselves over revenge porn. It's not a joke."
9. Is Blac Chyna dating an 18-year-old rapper?
Chyna was recently seen holding hands with rapper YBN Almighty Jay. And it wasn't the first time the pair were caught together on what looked to be a date. Just a few nights before, Chyna and her new beau were spotted going bowling together.
However, the real reason the new couple has probably garnered so much attention is their age difference. The rapper is 11 years her junior, making him only 18 to Chyna's 29.
Will Blac Chyna's latest relationship be a lasting one? Will she and Rob Kardashian ever settle their back-and-forth feud, for at least their daughter's sake? The jury is still out on this one. And we're not totally sure if it'll ever be solved. After all, when there's a Kardashian involved, the drama doesn't really ever seem to end.
