If you’ve ever been ghosted, then you know how confusing it can be to not have any clue why he suddenly lost interest. You wonder if it was something specific that you did or just something about you.
Men aren’t always forthcoming in their likes and dislikes, and it’s easy to do something that’s a turn-off and not even know you're doing it. We all want to know what went wrong and may consult our horoscope for answers, but we can always look to astrology for help.
Each zodiac sign has their own set of turn-offs. What is completely innocuous for one sign may be the worst for another. There are behaviors that we exhibit every day that are so ingrained in us, we don’t even think about them or how they may be affecting other people.
Dating and relationships can be tricky and it’s good to have as much information as possible going into it, so knowing your partner’s turn-offs can be invaluable. So, here's each zodiac sign's biggest turn-off.
ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Aries are impulsive, adventurous, and they don't do well with people who try their patience (mainly because they have so little).
You may be turning your Aries off if you're too low-energy, take too long to make a decision, or are someone who tries to manipulate them into changing. If they sense that you're trying to hold them back in anyway, they'll be turned off.
TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Taureans like things to be easy and as uncomplicated as possible, so if you're someone who thrives on drama and complications, you're probably not for them.
A Taurus man will be turned off if someone is demanding and dominating. If you try to make them do something or be something they don't want to do, they're going to give you some major pushback and will probably leave you.
GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Geminis like to go with the flow for they're the most versatile and flexible of the zodiac signs. They're very intelligent and witty.
What they secretly can't deal with are people who are negative and have gloom and doom attitudes. They're completely turned off by Debbie Downers and Penny Party-Poopers. If you see the worst in people, move on.
CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancers are the most loving of the signs and the most emotional. They believe that emotions are what make people interesting.
For them, the biggest turn-offs are people who are so full of themselves that they don't have room to care for other people. Cancers don't do well with arrogance, selfishness, and people who have hearts made of stone.
LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Leos are loyal, kind, and have a lot of energy. Leos are leaders and people gravitate to them.
The biggest turn-offs for Leos are people who are too focused on themselves to pay Leos any attention. If you're playing hard to get, it may backfire on you if a Leo is your object of affection. Leos need to know that you're into them; if not, they'll lose interest fast.
VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgos are extremely intelligent and trustworthy. If they say they're going to do something, they almost always do it.
The biggest turn-off for a Virgo is someone who doesn't keep their word, isn't very smart, or has bad personal hygiene. If you had a hard day and don't take a shower before bed, Virgo will be horrified if you try to put your dirty feet on them.
LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Libras like people and are great at social occasions with their conversational ease and good manners.
The biggest turn-offs for Libras are people who thrive on conflict and like to start arguments, and people who feel the need to constantly criticize. Libras also don't do well with people who pressure them to make decisions or take actions.
SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpios are focused and ambitious — once they have a goal in sight, they become even more driven. What Scorpio absolutely can't stand are people who are dishonest and game-players.
Scorpios like flirting but they can't stand teasing. If you tease a Scorpio, you run the risk of completely alienating them for Scorpios see teasing as forms of manipulation and lying.
SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarius individuals thrive on change and new experiences. They have little fear of the unknown and have a deep streak of wanderlust running through their veins.
Sagittarius' major turn-offs are people who don't want to go anywhere or try anything new. If you are a "stick in the mud" type of person and like things that you've been doing your whole life, then you're not a good fit for Sagittarius.
CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorns are patient, cautious, and reliable — they can be depended on for everything. Capricorns are true blue, and their word is extremely important to them.
Major turn-offs for Capricorns are people who are irresponsible and financially insecure. If you're someone who never has a positive bank balance or who don't take their commitments seriously, those qualities will come back and bite you in the ass because a Capricorn individual won't tolerate them for long.
AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarians are independent, brilliant, and innovative. Their major turn-offs are people who try to emotionally manipulate them for they don't do well with huge displays of emotions.
If your go-to manipulation tactic is tears, Aquarius isn't your guy. They'd rather do anything than have to comfort someone who is having a meltdown.
PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces are sensitive, romantic, and creative. They need people to be their advocates and their supporters.
Pisces turn-offs are people who lack imagination and who feel the need to try and control them. If you want someone traditional and have a small mind, then Pisces isn't the sign for you.
