If you have friends, even just a single friend, chances are you’ve had a huge fight at least once. No one can agree 100% of the time, no matter how compatible you are. But how you react to that fight depends on astrology.
Friendship is a relationship, and you have to put in the effort to make it work. That's all it is. You love your friends to death, but sometimes they can get on your nerves.
Maybe you wanted to go out bar hopping tonight and made all these plans with your friends but when you’re all ready to go, your best friend says she’d rather stay in and watch a movie. You say something along the lines of “you always do this,” she rebuttals, and before you know it, you two are at each other’s throats!
Dealing with a huge fight and making up with each other is important in terms of your friendship. You don’t want to make things worse and you want to stay friends…or do you? Do you bring it up every time you have a disagreement in the future?
Your reaction after the fact is almost as important as the fight, so you need to know how you and your friend alike will deal with the major fight you two just had. It could determine the future of your friendship!

Aries (March 21 - April 19)
Aries isn’t one to back down after a fight. The fiery competitive nature of a fire sign really shows when an Aries gets into a big fight with a friend.
She is not going to be the first to apologize. That would be like losing and Aries don’t ever like losing at anything, even if winning makes things worse. But Aries isn't so stubborn that she won’t apologize at all. If you say sorry first, Aries will jump right in and say it back. Aries wants to stay friends, and tries to make things go back to normal as quick as possible.
Confident Aries knows who was in the wrong, but won’t be the first to say sorry.
Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
If you’re friends with a Taurus, you probably already know that you won’t get an apology from her. Earth signs stand their ground and are difficult to get to say sorry.
Taurus is one of the most, if not THE most, stubborn sign in the zodiac. You are in for a rough ride if you’re waiting for a Taurus to apologize. Instead, Taurus will wait until you say you are sorry and that it was your entire fault. Then she might decide to talk to you again. MAYBE.
It will take a while to get back on regular talking terms, but Taurus will come around eventually. She just needs an apology from you and some time.
Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
Gemini won’t be able to tell if she still loves you or hates you after a fight. She wants your friendship but hates the fact that your disagreement blew up into a big thing and that hurtful things were said, so she'll hold a grudge.
Geminis will most likely forgive you and let things return to how they were before said blowout, but she won’t forget. She’ll remember everything you said during the fight, and a Gemini won’t hesitate to bring it back up in the future over and over again.
Geminis say they forgive you but can’t stop holding a grudge and allowing the fight to resurface at a later time.
Cancer (June 21 - July 22)
As all water signs, Cancers are very attached to their friends and hold them close to their hearts. After a huge fight, you’ll find a Cancer is unable to focus on anything else until the friendship is restored.
Cancers are quick to apologize and forgive, even if it wasn't their fault to begin with. Cancers are pretty pessimistic, so they may even convince themselves it was their fault. They just want to mend the tear in their friendships and move on. Cancers don’t keep a record of wrongs or hold a grudge, either. They just say sorry and get on with life.
Friendships are so high on a Cancer’s totem pole that they will apologize ASAP and be friends again. They don’t dwell on issues, they move past them with haste.
Leo (July 23 - August 22)
Leos are quick to kick you to the curb and replace you after a huge fight. As a confident and dominant fire sign, Leos are a bit arrogant when it comes to fights with friends.
A Leo thinks that since you wronged her, she can find someone better who won’t cause her so much strife. Leos don’t like fights in general — they just want a good time and friends who treat them well. It’s easier for a Leo to get out there and make some new friends than it is to put her pride aside and make amends.
After a fight with a Leo, you’re probably only acquaintances in her eyes now. You can apologize, but Leos expect an apology at the least so it won’t get you very far.
Virgo (August 23 - September 22)
Virgos will come up with some methodical way to grade your friendship and decide whether it’s worth it to make up or not. She pays attention to every word, every hand motion, and every eye roll during a fight and uses those cues to determine if the friendship is worth continuing.
That sounds harsh, but it’s not harsh to a Virgo. It just makes sense. Virgos need a method to the madness of life and relationships and this is how they handle both. But because they are on the shy side, you won’t know what goes on in a Virgo’s head.
She could cut you off and you’d never really know why. She could also makeup and leave out that it’s your last strike. Fighting with a Virgo is risky business.
Libra (September 23 - October 22)
Even though Libra is an air sign and air signs value communication, Libras hate confrontation. After a big fight, a Libra will give it some time and then text you like nothing ever happened.
The actual fight was bad enough for a Libra. She doesn’t want to have to bring it back up again! That’s basically like having the fight all over again to a Libra. No, a Libra would rather pretend it never happened and go on with the friendship.
Libras enjoy harmony and fighting disrupts that perfect harmony. Why not just go back to a peaceful, happy friendship like before the fight?
Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpios will hold a grudge until the day they die. If you got into a big fight with a Scorpio, watch out. She might be planning your demise as you read this, even if she seems to have put the fight behind her.
Scorpios are difficult to read because they can look so calm and cool when in reality, they have an entire war going on in their heads. A Scorpio may have said everything between you two is fine, but look for signs of passive-aggression. Has she been giving you backhanded compliments? Making you feel guilty over nothing? Yea, she’s still mad but likes you enough to try to deal with it, even if she is a bit passive-aggressive.
After a fight with a Scorpio, your friendship may be a bit rocky and a grudge will be held. Other than that, you two are totally fine!
Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)
A Sagittarius is not afraid to tell it how it is or cross the line with humor. After a fight, Sagittarius will make jokes about the fight (probably way too soon).
This fire sign handles life with optimism and positive energy, and humor is the path Sagittarius decides to take after a fight with a friend. After all, you are probably friends with a Sagittarius for her jokes, right? Why would she change for a fight?
Don’t take a Sagittarius’ jokes too seriously. It’s her way of coping with a fight and trying to get you back as a friend.
Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorn is a well-rounded earth sign that loves family more than anything. When a Capricorn gets into a fight with a friend, you already know her mom and sister know all about it.
She’ll base her next move on what her mom and sister say and think she should do. She knows her mom can see through fake friends quicker and with more ease than her, so a Capricorn trusts her mom like no other when it comes to friendships. Besides, her mom was the first friend she ever had.
If you get into a fight with a Capricorn you better prepare more than one apology — one for her, her mom, and any sister she has because they know all the details!
Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)
An Aquarius will flat-out ignore you after a fight. The temperamental air sign isn't great at an air signs biggest strength — communication — when someone doesn't agree with what she has to say.
Aquarius is a very intelligent sign but can get aggressive and angry if others don’t see eye-to-eye with her. Over time, she has figured out that the best solution after a fight is to simply ignore the other person until the storm blows over.
Fights are never fun, but Aquarius tends to rekindle the fighting flame if she doesn't give herself a cooling off period.
Pisces (February 19 - March 20)
As a water sign, Pisces usually achieve the best emotional relationships, whether it’s with friends, a significant other, or family. After a fight, Pisces like to talk it out and come up with a way to avoid such a blow out in the future.
Pisces is both intuitive and compassionate so once a fight breaks out, she is able to see both sides of the argument. This helps her understand where you are coming from and how the problem can be fixed or avoided.
A Pisces would much rather mend a wound in a friendship than allow it to fester and become something worse.
