He denies the accusations.

In the summer of 2004, Natasha Prince had the world at her feet. She had just turned 21 and was continuing to build her career as a model in London where she had graced the covers of 25 magazines, including those of French Elle and Italian Glamour.  The night before a photo shoot, she met celebrity magician David Blaine at a nearby nightclub, and he was nice to her.

"I’m not sure what was said, but I remember he was giving me a lot of attention," Prince told The Daily Beast. "I’m thinking, ‘He’s famous; there are beautiful girls all around him.’"

She left the club early to get a good night's rest for work and received a text from Blaine the next day. He invited her over to his friends' place for drinks, even offering to send a car.

Though Prince had originally planned not to have a drink that night, when Blaine disappeared into the kitchen and came back with a vodka soda, she made an exception.

After talking for 20 minutes, the magician asked the model if he could show her something in the bedroom.

“I followed him, and we went into the bedroom, and it’s dark," she said. "I told him right away when he texted me that I was working tomorrow. So I was thinking maybe we would have a sort of intimate conversation somewhere else for five or 10 minutes. But he spun around quite quickly and said, ‘Kiss me.’ I did kiss him. And then he said, ‘Finish your drink’ and took the glass from me and put it on the table, and that’s really the last thing I remember."

Prince says her memories of what happened next are foggy. She thinks because Blaine performed anal sex on her — and it was the first time she had ever done that — she woke up a bit. But mostly she says she was in and out of a deep sleep during their sexual encounter.

“When I woke up, I was very relaxed—very stoned. The lights were on, and I was naked. He was shirtless at the end of the bed. And when I looked at him, he said, ‘You have really nice tits.’ … He was just folding clothes, walking around. He didn’t kiss me or anything.”

It wasn't until the next morning that Prince started questioning what had happened. She didn't remember leaving his hour or taking a shower. She tried to brush it off until a month later when she went a club with her friend and found herself completely terrified.

The girl who used to love being social was now terrified of everyone.

In the years following the alleged incident, Prince said she's suffered many flashbacks, anxiety, fear of men, low self-esteem and random bursts of anger. She also stopped eating.

“I remember being flipped around, and it all seemed like slow motion,” she said. “I was wracking my brains and retracing all my steps trying to figure out what happened, which is why I remember so many details. I don’t remember any other day of that year.”

And even though modeling was the career she had always wanted, she stopped at age 24.

Prince heard from Blaine a few times since 2004. A few months after that night when she was back in New York, he called her.

“It was a very short conversation,” she said. “I was very freaked out; he seemed to be checking up on me, but he didn’t try and make a plan to see me or anything. He sounded very creepy, and it made me feel a bit bullied."

The next year, her friend was invited to a party at Blaine's house, and Prince went with her.

As soon as they arrived, she insisted on leaving, but not before the magician followed her into the bathroom to tell her how good she was in bed.

Six years later, Prince ran into Blaine at a subway in Manhattan with his girlfriend and his daughter. They shared some small talk, and a few days later he showed up outside of an art gallery where she worked.

“He called my name and asked how I was; it was very brief, but he seemed to come out of nowhere.”

Three years ago, Prince got sober and started seeing a therapist. In November of 2016, she reported the alleged rape to the London police.

Though it had been 13 years, there is no statute of limitations on sex crimes in Britain.

“You have to understand, my interpretation was that it was my fault," she said when asked why she waited to report it. "I didn’t think of it as rape. In my head, rape was being sober—pull her in a bush, pull down her pants, and just ditch her... So I blamed myself. I did like him. I was interested in him. So I didn’t think about going to the police."

When asked to comment about the alleged rape by The Daily Beast, Bline just said: “Wow… there’s absolutely nothing… that’s crazy.” London police reportedly had the 44-year-old magician fly out for an "interview under caution".

“Officers from the Met’s Child Abuse and Sexual Offenses Command are investigating an allegation of rape,” Scotland Yard said in a statement. “The allegation was reported to police on 17 November 2016 by a woman who alleged she was raped at an address in Chelsea in June or July 2004 when she was aged 21. There have been no arrests at this stage and enquiries continue.”

YourTango hasn't found any other evidence or allegations of sexual abuse regarding Blaine. The main rumors and theories out there on the internet are just about him being possessed by demons.

Blaine is denying the allegations. His lawyer released the following statement:

“My client vehemently denies that he raped or sexually assaulted any woman, ever, and he specifically denies raping a woman in 2004,” he said. “If, in fact, there is any police investigation, my client will fully cooperate because he has nothing to hide.”
