Being rejected can really suck the life out of you.

Like it or not, at some point in life you will experience rejection, and not all of us deal with that kind of failure in the same ways. Looking to your zodiac sign can help you figure out how you cope.
You might be the one rejecting another person or be rejected. Rejection hurts.
We've all been through them, and rejection and failure is one of the most difficult things to go through in life. Chances are if you've been lucky enough to avoid it either you haven't lived long enough yet. You might have experienced rejection, but your mind didn't process it that way.
Some people view a disappointment through the lens of opportunity.
J.K. Rowling, who is a Taurus Sun, Virgo Moon is a prime example of how a person's astrological sign can explain their reaction to rejection.
JK Rowling's majority successful book had been rejected from various publications before she was finally published. There have been many very talented and beautiful women who had their husband's divorce them. And there are women who were brave enough to wear their heart on their sleeves. They pursued their romantic interest only to be shut down.
I believe that when one door closes there are a million ones that open. And sure, it may feel terrible to be rejected, but you never know who or what was saying no to you.
That cute guy that turned you down could have had three other girlfriends who thought they were his one and only. The bad boy with a grin to die for could really be a deadbeat dad that doesn't support his family. Or that smoking doctor could workaholic that only values his career, putting all of his relationships on the back burner.
Did you know that when you rejected that it can actually be the same as physical pain? That means that the hurt your feeling is very real and should be treated as such.
Rejections have an extremely negative impact on another person's feelings and yours is different from another person's. We've summarized how each of the 12 zodiac signs handles rejection.
Aries (March 21 - April 19)
Aries loves hard and fast throwing herself fully into a relationship. If the object of her affections rejects her she'll brush it off by implying that the thrill just isn't there anymore. Aries will hide their pain preferring to act as if everything is ok.
She doesn't want to show others her weakness. After the pity party they will move on surprisingly fast, and maybe even appreciate you being direct about your feelings. She has other things to accomplish and hates wasting time.
Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus will try to fix the relationship behind the scenes. If there is any chance of avoiding a breakup a Taurus will try anything to avoid a drastic change. When you break this bull's heart she comforts herself by indulging in her fave foods, and snacks.
This weekend you can find Taurus at her house making herself comfortable. Likely cooking an epic meal, while pushing her sorrows away. She has to remain strong for the world, even though she's desperately hurting on the inside.
Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
No, is a word that most Gemini's don't understand. She'll keep trying to make it work until she eventually gets it. Gemini's believe that if you're rejecting her your seriously missing out! Or maybe your just a jerk, and she's too good for you.
After finally getting the message she'll text their friends about her new relationship status, it is still interesting gossip. She will soon be chasing after the next new piece of arm candy.
Cancer (June 21 - July 22)
Once you break a Cancer's heart she will go into hiding, choosing to retreat into her shell. Cancers are deadly afraid of rejection, and would rather avoid it if she could. Once the bitter realization of the rejection sinks in she'll be quick to remove you from her life.
She will Block you on Facebook, and do just about anything imaginable to get away from the pain. Her ego will be in shambles, but she will eventually nurse herself back to health. It will take a lot of love and time before she will pull herself back together and move on.
Leo (July 23 - August 22)
When this fierce lioness is faced with the possibility of rejection her claws will come out, and she can be downright scary. The first stage of a Leo's is anger then she goes into a long period of brooding. Good news is you can't keep a Leo down for long.
She will begin plotting to try to figure out ways to make you regret your decision. She will spend the time, money, and hours perfecting her style. The next time you run into each other it's hook line and sinker. She will be dazzling, and completely over you.
Virgo (August 23 - September 22)
It seems like Virgo is handling the rejection pretty well, but what's happening on the inside is a different story. Her self-esteem is ruined because she must be perfect at many things.
Ultimately when push comes to shove she can't handle the thought of being undesirable. Being viewed as weak is not an option to Virgo. She will try to be normal and carry on as if nothing ever happened. Even though on the inside she cries silent tears.
Libra (Sept 23 - Oct 22)
A Libra will begin flirting with everyone around them. Because Libra is such social butterfly she won't take the rejection to heart as long as the rejection is done in a polite way. When the rejection is diplomatically enough they may try to convenience themselves that they were never rejected in the first place. But if they are rejected in a cruel way it will really hurt the Libra's self-esteem.
What's more important to them is harmony and they will try to appear happy to the people around them. Even if this has negative effects on the Libra.
Scorpio (Oct 23 - Nov 21)
Scorpios passion can be destructive when someone rejects them. Scorpios need to have some "me" time to help herself feel better. The only problem is that this time can turn into long periods of isolations. She can begin to doubt herself and become extremely moody. It's hard for her to put on a brave face, and her loved ones will have to deal with the overflow of her emotions for quite a bit of time.
Sagittarius (Nov 22 - Dec 19)
Sagittarius is normally the life of the party, but even a rejection can take a toll on them. A depressed Sagittarius is likely to spend all her time drowning her sorrows in an attempt to make herself happy again.
The easy-going Sagittarius becomes much more serious, and inflexible always in across between thinking of the future and the past. Depending on how bad the rejection was this can last for years.
Capricorn (Dec 20 - Jan 19)
Capricorn loses her head when she's snubbed. Her ice cool demeanor deteriorates and she becomes her worse self. The drive that she has falls by the wayside as she begins to think what did she do wrong. Was there any way to prevent this from happening that she didn't think of? She will push herself to continue on as she always has, but it will take a while to fully heal.
Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarius doesn't take being turned down very well. She'll try to keep her emotions hidden, but those closest to her notice that something is off in her behavior. They stop being their bubbly selves and begin to withdraw from their friends for a little while.
She'll spend this time nearly obsessing about what went wrong and why it happened. Trying to rationalize why someone wouldn't like them.
Pisces (February 19 - March 20)
The extremely sensitive Pisces will be heartbroken. When a Pisces woman lets her feelings be known she can pour her whole heart out. When there is even a slight sign she might be rejected she will be crushed and overwhelmed.
She takes everything to heart and will hold herself responsible as the reason why a person broke her heart. Pisces will let you go when they are rejected going with the flow to not disturb the peace.
