Everyone has friend-zoned at least one person in their lifetime. Whether you friend zoned someone the hard way or the easy way, or someone has friend-zoned you, there's no denying its a game some people like to play.
If you're not about the friend-zone game, and want to catch the subtle signs of when it starts and how it plays itself out, you can through astrology and the zodiac signs.
Friend-zoning someone comes in all shapes and sizes and each zodiac sign has a way of going about putting someone in the friend-zone when they are interested in being friends, but nothing more.
There’s just so many ways to let someone know you don’t want to start a relationship with them, and it all really depends on your style of letting people down easy.
A common misconception about the friend-zone is that it’s a rejection. Rather than having someone just up and permanently cut you out of their life, they would rather keep you around as a friend because they like you, and it's not to reject you all together.

Why is that often seen as a bad thing? The friend-zone doesn’t have to be such a terrible thing if you think about it as saying you are likeable, but more as a friend.
As much as it isn’t fun to be in the friend-zone when you wish you were more than a friend, putting someone there is a much better feeling. It’s a useful, little imaginary room where romantic notions about relationships go to die before they’ve turned into more.
Yes, sometimes feelings get hurt, but it makes life so much easier, especially with fun little strategies to put someone there.

Friend-zoning someone isn’t easy for anyone, to be honest. It’s uncomfortable for both parties, and especially uncomfortable if a guy doesn’t know he’s being friend-zoned.
But there’s a lot of small signals for people to be aware of when they’re in the process of being friend-zoned and they don’t realize it.
Some of the zodiac signs prefer the ignoring tactic, some prefer to be up front and honest, while others like to use a little more out of the box friend-zoning strategies. But no matter how astrology tells you how to friend-zone someone, there's no way around it; at one point or another, you'll friend-zone someone.

Aries (March 21 - April 19)
An Aries girl is known for being honest, so when it comes to friend-zoning someone, she might not be so subtle.
She’ll be up front, and rather than play a few games with your head, she’ll tell you the real deal: she just wants to be friends.
Don't take it too hard, though, because she's telling you so that things stay fun and light.

Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus girls are touchy and usually like to express emotion through touch, so a way they show they’re friend-zoning you is to touch you as little as possible.
Not a single shoulder touch, or fixing your hair, or even a high five. She will stay away from that as a small sign that she just wants to hang out on a friendly basis.
It's a big sign for Taurus, but subtle for a girl in general, so you really need to know her as a person to catch her drift.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
A Gemini girl will let you know you’re being friend-zoned by ignoring your texts for an entire day, and then later sending a text saying, “sorry, I forgot to respond!” just to let you know she doesn’t think about you and doesn’t make you a priority.
Sometimes she’ll even take days to respond and say, “I didn’t even see your text," meaning she doesn’t check to see if you’ve messaged her at all.

Cancer June 21 - July 22)
One way a Cancer girl will hint to you that she’s putting you in the friend-zone is by blowing off opportunities to meet your friends and family.
She doesn’t want to get any closer in your relationship than she already is, and usually, meeting family means getting closer.
She’ll come up with excuses for why she’s unavailable to hang out with them and eventually, the subject will stop coming up.

Leo (July 23 - August 22)
Leo girls often put a guy in the friend-zone by using words like “bro” and “dude.”
Obviously, if you’re trying to get further in a relationship with a girl, hearing her call you “bro” constantly makes you realize she just thinks of you as if you’re in a fraternity together, not a relationship.
It's the casual language that helps her keep you at arm's length so she knows not to lead you on.

Virgo (August 23 - September 22)
A Virgo’s subtle way of letting you know you’re being friend-zoned is just letting herself go a little bit. She won’t dress very nicely and won’t do her hair to hang out with you.
I know, girls don’t wear makeup and look cute for guys’ entertainment, but letting a guy know you don’t care about how you look in front of him might make him realize you’re not looking to be in a relationship with him.

Libra (September 23 - October 22)
A Libra girl will friend-zone someone by comparing them to a family member. Saying things like, “you’re like a brother to me,” will make a guy turn the other way.
That line is usually the poison in the potential relationship, and if you hear it, you should know that she’s not interested.
She might not even do it intentionally, but when she does do it, it's not meant to hurt your feelings.

Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpio girls friend-zone someone by purposely talking about other people they’re interested in. This lets the person being friend-zoned know that she’s clearly into someone else and they should back off a bit.
She also clearly doesn't care if it hurts your feelings or not because she isn't in the mindset that she needs to let you down easy (since you're just a friend).

To let you know you’ve been friend-zoned, a Sagittarius girl will pose as your wing-woman. She’ll go out with you and help you spot all your potential suitors, even coming up with cool pick up lines and match-making games.
When Sag friend-zones, she does it in a way that you know you're still a good guy in her book, just not someone she wants to date.

Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)
