An unexpected detail about her life saved her from being sold into sex slavery on the dark web.

21 million people are forced into human trafficking, with 73 percent of calls made to The National Human Trafficking Center hotline involve sex trafficking. 

The numbers are staggering and they continue to climb, and the traffickers are getting bolder and more aggressive. In fact, Central and Southeastern Europe lead the globe in cases of human trafficking with 4.2:1000 persons generating 32 billion dollars in profits for criminal offenders.

Case in point, the most recent story of vile kidnapping and human sex trafficking: the British model, Chloe Ayling. Ayling was recently released by her kidnappers after being abducted and nearly sold into sex slavery.

She is currently working with Italian authorities and what has been revealed by various sources proves just how dangerous and deep the trenches of human trafficking run. 

Here are the most recent facts details, and rumors related to Chloe Aylin's case: 

1. Chloe Aylin is a 20-year old British model who is based out of London.

She works as a model with over 108,000 followers on Instagram.

2. Ayling was born in England in the month of June and is a Gemini.  

Her career got a boost when she collaborated with Youtuber, JMZ in his strip football videos back in 2016.

She has also worked in collaboration with brands like Calvin Klein and The Daily Stars. 

3. She thought she was being hired for a job.

The British model told authorities that she headed to Milan under the impression that she was going to be involved in a modeling photoshoot located near Central station in Milan.

4. She didn't see who took her when she arrived.

5. She is just now speaking to the press.

Ayling gave the following report to the Italian police according to new sources:

"A person wearing black gloves came up from behind and put one hand on my neck and the other on my mouth, while a second person, wearing a black balaclava, injected me in my right arm. I think I lost consciousness. When I woke up I was wearing a pink bodysuit and the socks I’m in now. I realized I was in the boot of a car, with my wrists and ankles tied and my mouth taped. I was inside a bag, with only a small hole that allowed me to breathe.”

6. She was heavily drugged.

It is rumored that her abductors used a horse tranquilizer called ketamine. Ketamine is commonly used on animals and comes in various forms including powder. When injected it causes the recipient of the drug to enter a trance-like state. Ketamine also is known to cause memory loss. 

7. She knows that when she was abducted in Milan on July 11th, her kidnappers had handcuffed and transported her in a bag.

She shared that she does not remember being placed inside the bag, but when she finally woke up she was wearing a pink body suit, socks, and was tied up with her mouth covered.

9. While held at the farmhouse for six days, she was auctioned on the Dark Web.

According to Ayling, her captor claims he had already earned £11 million in the last five years.

He had photographed her and placed an ad for her sale in an auction with an asking price of £230,000 the equivalent of $300,000 USD.

There are rumors that several males had placed bids to purchase her, and once sold, she would be shipped outside of Europe similarly to the way that she was transported to the farmhouse.

The group being called "Black Death" has rules against kidnapping mothers.

11. When it was made known that Ayling was a mother of a two-year-old child, her kidnappers released her as a "huge generosity".

However, they included a demand for money and expected her agent to pay 'outstanding costs of $50,000 for her release. 

12. Authorities believe that they have the vehicle where that transported her in this case.

And they also have found the handcuffs used to restrain her while held at a farmhouse for a week and chained to furniture. 

13. She first spoke to the reporters about her release on Sunday morning and read this statement:

"I've been through a terrifying experience. I've feared for my life, second by second, minute by minute, hour by hour. "I'm incredibly grateful to the Italian and U.K. authorities for all they have done to secure my safe release. I have just arrived home after four weeks and haven't had time to collect my thoughts. I am not at liberty to say anything further until I have been debriefed by the U.K. police."

14. The suspects are a gang called Black Death. 

The letter was left at the alleged Black Death linked crime scene which included a threat to kill her if she spoke to authorities with a claim that she was 'fairly treated.'

The group "Black Death" operates on the Dark Web. They are known to buy and sell women into sex slavery to bidders that participate in online auctions. In a statement made by Da Corrie Milano about Ayling's kidnapping, it's uncertain whether or not this syndicate is related to a group called Black Death, or if the suspect created his own version of the group in order to sell the British model online. 

Ayling shared with authorities that, women were sold to wealthy Arabs, who then could sell their slaves until later the women became "tiger meat".

15. A primary suspect has been named by Italian authorities. 

He is a 30-year-old Polish man who lives in Britain named Lukasz Pawel Herba.

He has confessed to the kidnapping, and his confession reveals that Ayling's kidnapping involved careful planning. She was apparently targeted for months prior to her abduction. 

Authorities found information leading to the auction of three other kidnapped females. There was also evidence that Herba had been in contact with other kidnappers of women. 

Both Italian, British, and Polish authorities are continuing their investigations and currently are searching for a potential accomplice to this crime.
