There are some things that just make you tick, and if you look to astrology, your zodiac sign can tell you a lot about what those things are and why they stress you out so much. 

Everyone gets stressed out; some about little things, some about big things, and some about EVERYTHING. Work, school, drama with your friends; stress stretches wide and far. You can pretty much find a way to stress out about ANYTHING if you tried hard enough.

Being stressed out is no game, though. It can make you feel sick, anxious, and interfere with your life. Too much stress can — and will — lead to, or trigger, serious mental illnesses.

Learning how to manage your stress is EXTREMELY important because it affects EVERY part of your life.

Being stressed out will stop you from doing the things you TRULY love because you’re too stressed out about work or family. Stress can also stop you from taking risks and trying new things, which is never good.

Some people manage their stress better than others, which explains why some people are also a little more high strung than others.

What’s really interesting is how each zodiac sign reacts to stress. Obviously, astrology can tell us SO much about ourselves, and that includes what stresses us out and makes us upset.

The good thing is, stress isn’t incurable. We all experience it, and some of us have learned how to manage our stress pretty well.

Depending on what’s stressing you out, there’s always something that will ground you and bring you back to what REALLY matters.

It may not be easy to try and get rid of all the stress in your life (it’s probably impossible!) BUT, we can all learn how to manage what stresses us out.

It’s hard to be happy and carefree when there’s always that ONE thing in the back of your head making you worried and anxious.

So, what is it that stresses you out? Based on your horoscope, we’ve found what REALLY stresses you out AND how you can manage your stress and be WAY more stress-free.

Aries (March 21 - April 19)

Competition, strength, and proving yourself are qualities you take VERY seriously. Any time you’re not excelling above what people expect, you’re immediately stressed.

You always need the BEST grades, BEST performance, BEST presentation; whatever it is, you want people to look at you and think that you are the best. It seriously stresses you out.

Take some time to think about what’s REALLY important.

Are you happy? Are you enjoying what you’re doing? Be okay with losing every once in awhile; it's healthy.

Taurus (April 20 - May 20)

When something changes unexpectedly, you kind of freak out. You like order, routine and when things go your way.

Sadly, life doesn’t really work that way. Things are ALWAYS changing, and you know that, yet you can’t seem to stop stressing out every time something new comes along and shakes things up.

Learn to roll with the punches; practice being spontaneous and try new things! You’ll like it WAY more than you think, and it’ll show you that change isn’t ALWAYS a bad thing.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)

Being alone SERIOUSLY makes you anxious. You get WAY too into your head whenever you’re alone, and it makes you stress about everything in your life and second guess yourself.

You can be pretty indecisive and that really comes out when you’re alone and stressed out. You’ll start questioning EVERY relationship in your life, even if there’s nothing going on.

Clearly, it’s about you. You’re a classic over-thinker, and you’ve GOT to get out of your head!

Try writing in a journal when you’re feeling stressed. Once it’s all written down, you’ll feel SO much better AND you’ll realize you’re being so irrational.

Cancer (June 21 - July 22)

You’re kind of ALWAYS stressed about everything, but friendship drama REALLY stresses you out! You hate when people criticize the people you love but you also hate conflict and too much emotion, so you kind of go into stress overload.

You feel everything SO much, it’s hard not to always be stressed out.

Take some time to focus on YOU. You’re always so worried about other people that you don’t take a moment to ask YOURSELF if you’re okay.

Find some time to relax and revive, it will put EVERYTHING into perspective.

Leo (July 23 - August 22)

Work stress is the WORST for you. You like to have fun. Like, a LOT of fun.

You likely have a job that you really enjoy, but even the best jobs can get a little stressful. You are used to things going YOUR way, so when they don’t, it kind of hurts your ego, which stresses you out.

Facing the reality of situations is scary for anyone, but it ESPECIALLY stresses you out because you so often choose to ignore reality.

Best way to fix your stress? Talk about it with other people. You get wrapped up in your anger and bitterness, but your best pals will definitely be able to bring you back to earth. And a little venting always helps.

Virgo (August 23 - September 22)

Being under pressure and sized up by a bunch of people is probably your worst fear.

You like to fly under the radar in most situations, but there will be times when you’re put under the spotlight and expected to seriously perform. This stresses you out pretty bad considering you’re already inherently shy!

The best thing to do? Fake it ‘till you make it. Yup, lie to yourself.

Tell yourself you’ve got it SO under control. Fake confidence will eventually turn into real confidence, and you’ll be killing it before you even know it.

Libra (September 23 - October 22)

Confrontation, conflict, injustice - you name it. If it’s even slightly messy, you’re stressed about it. You are so passionate that when things start to go wrong, you start running around like a chicken with your head cut off.

Life won’t always work in your favor and there’s A LOT of conflict in your life and the lives around you, so the constant stress is NOT going to be good for you.

Your best bet is to stay positive. Find the good in every situation, find a lesson in every mess up, and you’ll start to feel the harmony you love to bring into the world.

Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)

Jealousy, lies, paranoia; you’ll drive yourself crazy! You have a habit of being distrusting and making assumptions. You guard yourself by always being suspicious or comparing yourself to others.

You find it easier to paint others black instead of seriously addressing the problems you have.

You’ll start stressing about one thing, and suddenly you’re in a downward spiral of conspiracies. Take some deep breaths, come out of that dark hole, and TALK IT OUT with someone you trust.

You’ll make yourself crazy if you don’t confront your issues head on.

Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)

Responsibility stresses you out. You like to live a life that’s carefree and easy, but life doesn’t always play out that way. You tend to promise more than you can deliver, which is a quick and easy way to get SUPER stressed out.

You also struggle with details, which can be super important in work and school, which isn't one of your biggest strengths.

Focus on what you’re good at and do those things 100%. By doing that, you’re teaching yourself how to commit to something and be good at it!

It will also show you how to find discipline in the things you don’t exactly like doing.

Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)

You stress yourself out. You take life so seriously that you also tend to take yourself too seriously.

You always expect the worse and this causes A LOT of stress because you’re always anticipating what horrible thing is going to come next.

It’s a habit you use as a defense mechanism so you never get disappointed, but it ends up causing you more harm than if you let yourself be disappointed every once in awhile.

Look for the positives! Don’t let yourself fall into the negativity of situations too quickly, it’s okay to allow yourself time to breathe.

Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)

Pretty much everything stresses you out. Like, EVERYTHING. If things aren’t exactly the way you pictured them, you’re stressed.

If someone says the wrong thing to you, you’re stressed. It’s a never ending stress circle. You like fun with friends, good conversations, and being passionate about a cause, but if anything doesn’t go the way it’s planned, you lose it.

You’ve got to look at the bigger picture. Do you want to remember being upset and stressed? Or do you want to remember having a good time DESPITE things not going as planned?

It’s up to you.

Pisces (February 19 - March 20)

You get stressed when people start to confront you about your past. Maybe you got in a huge argument with your BFF, maybe things with you ex were never resolved, maybe it’s something way deeper.

Either way, the past coming back to haunt you keeps you up at night. Even the littlest things will make you wonder if someone’s going to bring up that time you peed your pants in the 7th grade.
