These signs keep it casual.

A lot of people will tell you that we are right in the middle of the “hookup” culture and I have to say, I believe them.
Gone are the days where you have to think about marriage and babies right away, and instead, you have the option to focus on yourself.
And if you ask me, focusing on myself definitely includes getting some when I’m feeling frisky. I’ve dealt with both sides of the coin — being in love and having more casual relationships — and I really do see the appeal in both.
For example, casual sex, hooking up, whatever you want to call it, is great because you don’t really have to worry about presents at Christmas or meeting their parents because all you really want to do together is Netflix and chill.
Of course, if we want to get technical (and apparently I do), you don’t even have to know their name to get what you want … right?
Think about it: How many times have you hooked up with someone at a party or after meeting them at a bar, and asked them what their name was before getting to the good stuff?
Anyway.
When it comes to being in love — or at least being in a serious relationship — it feels like coming home to your best friend every night, which is also a really awesome feeling.
But even if you specifically (not "you" in general) can see the plus side to both situations, not everyone does — especially if their horoscope has anything to say about it.
Maybe it’s because I’m an Aquarius and my wants can change on a dime, but for zodiac signs like Capricorn, who is mature enough to deal with casual hookups, the idea of not being in a serious relationship is not very appealing.
I find that the hookup culture is best for those who either don’t like being tied down or hate making big decisions (like whether you love someone enough to tell them so).
These people are also pretty well-versed in being friends with benefits without catching feelings, which is a gift not everyone has.
My point is, some astrology signs are more into hooking up than being a serious couple, which can stem from a variety of reasons.
And whether you want to know which signs they are so you can Netflix and chill with them, or you’re curious to know if you made the list, you should definitely keep reading to find out which zodiac signs are into hookups … but not so much with being in love or having a relationship.
GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Gemini is great at making friends and is also great at not getting attached, so she actually makes a great partner to hook up with. She tends to have trouble committing to things (and people), so when the opportunity arises where she doesn’t actually have to worry about that, she’s all in. However, it can sometimes feel like she’s using you because after you’re done with the actual hook up part, she’s already putting her clothes back on; no cuddling for her!
However, don’t let that deter you from having a good time. Gemini will often communicate how she thinks the relationship should go — if you two are frequently hooking up with each other — or what she wants out of this “relationship.” It might be a shock to have her be so upfront and blunt about it at first, but you’ll definitely thank yourself later that that talk is done and out of the way.

LIBRA (Sept 23 - Oct 22)
Libra, like Gemini, has a hard time making decisions, so she likes hooking up because it’s easy and non-threatening. When Libra is faced with the choice between staying in a causal relationship with someone or taking it to the next level, she often prefers the first choice because it gives her more time to really figure out what she wants. Libra HATES being rushed into things, so as long as she doesn’t have to worry about making serious plans with someone, she’s happy.
Libra also likes there to be a lot of equal give and take in relationships, which is why hooking up is a no-brainer for her. Instead of feeling weird or awkward about vocalizing what she wants out of a serious relationship for fear of ruining the dynamic (which does happen), she can say exactly what she wants without worry during casual hook ups. Doesn’t work out? She can find someone else, easy peasy.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov 22 - Dec 19)
Sagittarius is very, very against serious relationships because it means she has to give up the most important part of herself: her freedom. Sagittarius has a hard time letting her guard down enough to make a serious relationship work, so she likes to stay away from them altogether. Instead, hooking up with anyone she wants lets her keep that freedom while still having fun. She knows that not all relationships are meant to last, so having fun with someone for a while is good enough for her.
Sagittarius might end up doing the friends with benefits thing for a bit, but it isn’t uncommon for her to get bored with hooking up with the same person pretty fast. When Sagittarius gets into the hook up culture, she plays it fast and loose. Maybe she’s subconsciously looking for that special someone to change her mind about love, but I wouldn’t hold your breath over it.

AQUARIUS (Jan 20 - Feb 18)
Aquarius is only of those people who tend to flip-flop between wanting to be in a relationship and wanting to just keep it casual, but that doesn’t mean that she isn’t into hooking up. In fact, Aquarius likes keeping things casual because to her, having a friend with benefits or a Netflix and chill buddy is just the next best thing to having a serious relationship. She especially doesn’t like that serious relationships and love can change the dynamic, so she shies away from them.
Aquarius, like Sagittarius, also highly values her freedom and she knows that if things get too serious or complicated, she can stop hooking up with a person. Having this easy out is a blessing for Aquarius, and if and when she is ready to make it serious, she can be sure that the person she’s with is the right one.
