These 4 Zodiac Signs Can Seem Intimidating, But They're Actually Super Sweet

We ALL know that type of person. The one where you would rather just not try to initiate a conversation with them because you aren’t sure if they’re going to bite your head off or not.

Or the person who you’ve always heard is really scary or assertive, but you’ve been too afraid to talk to them to really find out if it’s true.

Sounds pretty familiar, right? Now, what about the people who embody everything I just said, except when you finally did have a conversation with them, you realized how sweet they actually were.

This happens more often than you'd think… 

But, if you’re like, “YES that totally happened to me and now that scary monster is my best friend,” then you’re definitely not the only one who has experienced this type of person.

I should be honest here and tell you that I am that scary person when you first meet me.

I like to blame it on my RBF (Resting Bitch Face, for all of you who don’t know the hip acronym for it), but when I ask my BFF, she tells me that, no, I’m actually that scary.

I remember being in high school, wearing my RBF and generally scaring people off in the halls, and everyone thinking my sister was a bad ass because she was the only one who was brave enough to talk to me.

Of course, no one knew we were sisters before this, but it goes to show you that first impressions can make it harder for people to get to know the real you.

And yes, I do try to find that sweet side that’s buried way deep down inside of me when I meet someone new, but my point is that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover because the truth might just surprise you.

Aries loves making friends and generally being an open, nice person, but her confident and outgoing personality can make her seem like the complete opposite (weird, right?).

Instead of being comfortable enough to just walk up to her and strike up a conversation, which she would totally be into, people often find her intimidating. They might feel like they’re not cool enough to talk to her, or just convince themselves that she really isn’t that nice, but that couldn’t be farther from the truth.

The only reason why Aries isn’t always introducing herself to new people — which she still does quite a lot — is that she’s probably busy having fun and enjoying life.

If you want to do the same, you sometimes have to be the one to go to her, even if she does intimidate you. The payout is definitely worth it.

VIRGO (Aug 23 - Sep 22)

Virgo seems like a no-nonsense person to any ol’ outsider, but if you were to say that to people who actually know her, they would totally disagree with you.

Virgo is a smart girl, which can make her seem a little more serious and straight to the point, but she’s really just a big softie once you get to know her. She’s known for making everyone feel welcome, and goes above and beyond for all of her friends, which is definitely something that doesn’t go unnoticed.

In order to find that super sweet side of Sagittarius, you have to prove that you’re going to be a ride or die kind of person for her. She might not like being tied down, but she does put a lot of trust in her friends.
