Sometimes, when you break up with someone, you still want to keep things cordial. After all, you don’t hate them. In fact, you genuinely wish the best for them.
But admittedly, it’s pretty hard to not have any hard feelings after a breakup.
I mean, if you’re telling someone you don't want them in your life any longer, then it’s likely that the other person will be upset. But don’t fret, because it’s DEFINITELY possible to break up with someone without completely shattering their heart.
You just have to let them down gently.
Doing something like suggesting that you two stay friends might not always take away the sting of a breakup (because it's still a breakup, after all — and no one EVER likes the friend zone), but it’s always better to leave things on a good note.
