Happy Anniversary!

Celebrating your anniversary is something that should come with a lot more hype, in my opinion.
Whenever you celebrate your birthday, you usually have all of your friends and family fawning all over you, showering you with gifts, and taking you out to do anything you want (in a perfect world, at least).
I’m not a huge birthday person myself, so when my friends and family ask how I want to celebrate mine, I usually try to keep it low key.
But when it’s my best friend or boyfriend’s birthday, I want to go all out and show them how special they are; that’s what makes the day memorable, right?
So why wouldn’t you want to do the same for your anniversary? Even if you aren’t a “big plans, gift-giving” type of person to begin with, you can still make it an amazing day – and night – for your significant other.
One of my favorite ways to celebrate my anniversary with my boyfriend (besides asking him if he’s sick of me yet and rocking his socks off later that night), is making the day about him.
You don’t have to exchange gifts to make your partner feel special.
Sometimes, the best way to do that is to just let them know that they mean so much to you, no matter how big or small that gesture is.

Of course, if you’re known for going big on your anniversary, then my all means go all out, but if you don’t have the words to express how much you love celebrating your first (or fiftieth) anniversary with the person you adore so much, then anniversary quotes and memes – yes, even memes – can do the trick.
