Beyonce and Jay Z, "Drunk In Love" Video

For years and years, Beyoncé has been #goals. Aside from her music, she and husband, Sean Carter (better known as Jay Z) have been pretty hush-hush about their love life as a couple.

However, with the release of Beyoncé's album Lemonade last year we’ve come to question everything, from their “Crazy in Love” collaboration while still dating to the many anthems from the most recent album that prove to be nothing short of crazy (arguably the entire album).

But even before we knew that there was a big chance that the songs were about her nearly 15-year relationship with Jay-Z, we were always able to relate to the authentic truths about womanhood that her music spoke.

On so many levels we understood the crazy that existed — that Beyoncé breathed onto some of our favorite tracks — tracks that continue to be anthems for women everywhere going through shit with their men.

We 100 percent knew where she was coming from when she sang about making herself easy to love and her wanting to f*ck her up a b*tch after being made to feel worthless, whether we were thinking about relationships past or future.

We get it, girl! And that’s when we realized it’s Beyoncé's love songs that provide the greatest connection to fans.

So, we put together an entire list of love songs by Beyoncé for you to jam out too or scream in a pillow too which ever you prefer here are 10 odes to all of us who know all too well what it means to be "Crazy in Love."

1. "Ring the Alarm"

Ring the alarm
I been through this too long
But I'll be damned if I see another chick on your arm
Won't you ring the alarm?
I been through this too long
But I'll be damned if I see another chick on your arm

She gon' be rockin' chinchilla coats
If I let you go
Getting the house off the coast
If I let you go
She gon' take everything I own
If I let you go
I can't let you go

Your relationship has officially reached an unhealthy status when your staying around just to ensure that another woman doesn't take your place in receiving the possessions and poor (neglectful, hurtful, or generally shitty) treatment your man is dishing out.

2. "Hold Up"

Something don't feel right
Because it ain't right
Especially comin' up after midnight
I smell your secret, and I'm not too perfect
To ever feel this worthless
How did it come down to this?
Scrolling through your call list
I don't wanna lose my pride, but I'm a fuck me up a bitch
Know that I kept it sexy, and know I kept it fun
There's something that I'm missing, maybe my head for one

What's worse, lookin' jealous or crazy, jealous or crazy?
Or like being walked all over lately
, walked all over lately
I'd rather be crazy.

The way he's moving has you feeling insecure about sanity, and it's probably because you really are losing it, doing questionable things to hang on to a relationship and your pride. But this isn't the only song that Beyoncé describes feeling low and worthless despite knowing she does everything and then some to keep her man happy ... yet he still isn't shit. So, perhaps a feeling finds to be a little too familiar?

3. "Why Don't You Love Me"

Why don't you love me?
Tell me, baby, why don't you love me
When I make me so damn easy to love?
And why don't you need me?
Tell me, baby, why don't you need me
When I make me so damn easy to need?

I got beauty, I got class
I got style and I got ass
And you don't even care to care

I even put money in the bank account
Don't have to ask no one to help me out
You don't even notice that

...Sort of like she describes here in Why Don't You Love Me from her "I Am ... Sasha Fierce" album.

4. "Freakum Dress"

Said it’s been a minute since I had some
He’s been acting up
But he won’t be the only one
Cause when he acts up, that’s when you put it on
Get him uptight, this is your song
Hold out your back, time to impress
Pulloutyourfreakum dress
Oh, put your freakum dress on

Anytime you need a "freakum dress" in your relationship there's trouble in paradise. But not knocking it — it does work for a day or two.

5. "Jealous"

I'm in my penthouse half-naked
I cooked this meal for you naked
So where the hell you at
Just one shot left of this drink, in this glass
Don't make me break it
I wish that you were me
So you could feel this feeling
I never broke one promise, and I know when you're not honest
Now you got me yelling that's because I'm jealous

I don't need to explain why this song describes a toxic, sanity-draining relationship. It's all right there in the very first lyrics from an angry Bey. From experience, I do know there's nothing worse than getting all dolled up for a no-show.

6. "Mine"

I've been watching for the signs
Took a trip to clear my mind
Now I'm even more lost
And you're still so fine, oh my oh my
Been having conversations about breakups and separations
I'm not feeling like myself since the baby
Are we gonna even make it? Oooh
Cause if we are, we're taking this a little too far
If we are, we're taking this a little too far
Baby, if we are, we're taking this a little too far
Me being wherever I'm at, worried about wherever you are
We're taking this a little too far

Not knowing where you stand, but somehow feeling like you have to make this work can be a tough place to be in and yes, it can make you crazy.

7. "Countdown"

There's ups and downs in this love
Got a lot to learn in this love
Through the good and the bad, still got love
Dedicated to the one I love, hey

Still love the way he talk, still love the way I sing
Still love the way he rock them black diamonds in that chain
Still all up on each other, ain't a damn thing change
My girls can't tell me nothing, I'm gone in the brain
I'm all up under him like it's cold, winter time
All up in the kitchen in my heels, dinner time

Do whatever that it takes, he got a winner's mind
Give it all to him, meet him at the finish line

You've definitely reached insanity when you're in a world fit for a population of two and your friends try to warn you, but you're just not hearing it — not even when everything starts blowing up in your face.

8. "Crazy In Love"

I look and stare so deep in your eyes
I touch on you more and more every time
When you leave, I'm begging you not to go
Call your name two or three times in a row
Such a funny thing for me to try to explain
How I'm feeling and my pride is the one to blame
'Cause I know I don't understand
Just how your love can do what no one else can

Got me looking so crazy right now, your love's
Got me looking so crazy right now (in love)

This song describes the good kind of crazy and trust me it does exist, it's when you exhibit all the symptoms of a schoolgirl with a crush but alas your adoration is reciprocated.

 9. "Rather Die Young"

You know I've been in love before
You're the first one I ever seen
That burns like gasoline
So light a match, turn off the lights
I'm holding on to you
'Cause this
might be a last night, oh
'Cause I'd rather die young
Than live my life without you
I rather not live at all
Than live my life without you

The kind of love that makes you want to die for the person is a potent love, but it's also a lethal and even insane kind of love.

10. "Kitty Kat"

You know I hate sleeping alone
But you said that you would soon be home
But baby, that was a long time ago
I'm not feelin' it
On top of you not callin' me back
You see, I bet you think it's all on track
And you actin' like it's all o' that
I'm not feelin' it
Let's go, let's go little kitty cat
I think it's time to go
He don't want no mo'
Let's go little kitty cat
Quite frankly: no mo' getting it, I'm not feeling it

I'm taking back the things I got from you, you
And that includes my sweet little nooky too, too
Let's go, let's go, let's go little kitty cat (kitty cat)
He don't want you anymore, no.

Using your vagina as leverage is probably frowned upon by sex experts everywhere but whatever. Shit happens and a girl has to do what she has to do.
