Whether you think you’ve made a new friend until she leaves you for other people, or you think you have this AMAZING connection with someone ... until you find out he wasn’t who he said he was. At some point we all have to deal with this disappointment.
There are some people out there who are less than great at hiding their true selves — which is great news for you if you’re trying to stay away from fake people — but there are also a TON of people who truly do seem like they are who they say they are, even when they, well, aren't.
Not only does this make it harder to know what’s real and what’s fake with them, but it also hurts a lot more when they finally own up to their true self.
One thing you can do as sort of a preventative measure is to always be real.
You don’t (and shouldn’t) have to water yourself down in order to fit into everyone’s mold of the perfect friend, partner, or person.
If people can’t deal with the person you are, then why should you deal with them, right? Plus, there is a thrill that comes with telling someone that they aren’t worth your time, especially if they had no problem being fake to you.

The other type of person you will meet besides the one who pretends to be someone they’re not is the person who can’t live up to the things they project.
These are the types of people who always exaggerate or lie to others because they feel like no one will like them for who they really are.
You don’t have to pretend to be all of these things just because one person doesn’t like you; the realest people won’t care who you are, as long as you’re 100% YOU.
Unfortunately, this isn’t easy for everyone. Some people are more prone to being fake simply because their personality — or zodiac sign — makes it seem like the better choice.
And whether or not they like it, these astrological signs can jeopardize their relationships because they can’t seem to stop being fake. This is why it’s important to be real; you might just have an opportunity to change someone else for the better.

Gemini has a hard time making decisions and going with the flow in life, which means she is often caught up in her own head to notice what is going on around her.
It may be harsh, but she would much rather deal with her own things instead of pretend like she cares about others.
That said, she doesn’t want people to think that she could be this shallow, which is why she pretends to make an effort to relate to others. However, this is just her being fake because she’s dealing with too much already.
If Gemini makes an effort to help the people she loves, and allows them to help her when she needs it, she can avoid being a fake mess.

Libra spends all of her time trying to please others that she’s really just turning herself into a fake friend.

But just because she is trying to get on everyone’s good side doesn’t mean it’s actually working. Her failed attempts at trying to stretch herself thin only make her seem that less caring to those who actually matter to her.

This can make her seem like she’s incredibly fake, and only wants the best parts of people, even if it isn’t true.
