Lookin' good, Mama!

After Mama June Shannon shed 300 pounds in 2017 (I know!), she and her rockin' body and new breasts were everywhere.
If you're not aware of the well-known reality star's total transformation, lets fill you in. Mama June, weighing in at 460 pounds, was invited to her ex-love Sugar Bear's wedding. This invite motivated her to lose weight and get in shape, so she could show Sugar Bear what he was missing.
On the reality show Mama June: From Not To Hot that aired on WEtv, she documented her journey, from diet and exercise to the multiple surgeries, including gastric sleeve surgery and liposuction.
In an interview, she said, “Just 11 months ago, I weighed 352 pounds and I never thought this weight loss would be possible. It’s been a long road through all these three surgeries, struggling with my emotional eating, these intense workouts, a dress I thought I would never be able to fit into, dealing with my ex’s fiancée/soon-to-be Alana’s stepmom, and all the while I’m trying to stay healthy and good for my kids.”
Her final revelation was amazing and inspiring. And wow does she look good!
In 2018, Mama June revealed what it felt like to be at the end of her journey, revealing, "I worked my ass off working out, eating healthy, and now it's like everything's coming full circle... I'm becoming the person on the outside that I felt I was like on the inside, it's kind of crazy."
But, everyone still wanted to know: did Shannon also get a breast augmentation? Well, if you're already under the knife to remove excess skin and suck out some more fat, why not add a breast lift also?
And that's exactly what she did. The 40-year-old reality star went to New York City for an interview with Good Morning America back in 2017, and she left little to the imagination. Her daughter, Pumpkin, had already opened up about her mother's surgery a few months prior, saying, "She got her boobies done. She got them from a 44 long to 36 up."
She also revealed the struggles her mom encountered during her transformation, adding, "I think that her biggest thing [she has to] overcome is that fact that she still thinks of herself as a bigger person, because, even to this day, like, a couple of days ago we had a conversation, and... she looked in the mirror and was like, "I'm still fat." And I guess because she's seen herself as a bigger person all these years, she doesn't realize how small she is."
Although some people may believe that surgery is the easy way out, it's far from it. Gastric sleeve surgery shrinks the size of your stomach so that you are satisfied quicker, thus losing weight.
But you still need to change your lifestyle, and it appears Shannon is dedicated to maintaining her new body.
In an interview, she said, "I can promise you I'm never going back to that size... I'm happy where I'm at."
And in a follow-up interview just a year after her big reveal, Shannon was still satisfied with how far she had come. She said, “People think that I’m going to gain the weight back. But hello, I’ve almost been at this [weight] for a year and a half and I’m not gaining!”
And while she admitted that it can be hard to maintain a certain weight, she still said that she'd never let herself go back to her starting weight: “My current weight is like 165 to 170. I just try to watch what I eat and exercise when I can. I don’t ever want to go back.”
The reality star also revealed that she definitely wouldn't be getting any more plastic surgery, saying, “I did what I wanted to do and that’s it!”
Shannon may be skinny now after her extreme weight loss, but it doesn't look like she has lost her appetite for fun. Keep up the good work, Mama — we're rooting for you!
