But STILL, we hope these romances last as long as the ink will.
Millennials are known for a lot of stuff — some of which we’re praised for but most of it we’re criticized for. One of those things happens to be our infatuation with inking our entire bodies up.
It's truly a wonderful thought to imagine us all running around the assisted living home with full sleeves or a gang of micro tattoos peppered all over our bodies.
(Can't you just picture our tattoos disintegrating under wrinkles?)
And, even then I can't see an entire generation swimming with regret. (Sure, there may be a couple of people banging their head against the wall for the matching tattoos that will remind them of love that didn't always last.)
After looking at these 15 matching tattoos we can see the temptation for couples to get matching ink — while we're oohing and ahhing, we'll be keeping our fingers crossed — hoping these romances last as long as their tattoos.
Geeking out just a little here, but it's super cute!
4. Doughnut worry ... it's all love
If ever there was a "Foodie MVP" award, it would go to this couple. Although, I'm not quite sure that I totally get the symbolism behind a bitten doughnut. Perhaps, something kinky?!
5. Wind beneath my wings
TBH, we're just suckers for the you get a half, I get a half thing. Very cool. Very fifth-grade BFF style.
6. One of the wolfpack
Most of the time we see wolves as aggressive animals, but this couples portrait shows the softer side — the side that only the wolfpack itself gets to see. No new (boy)friends, huh?
7. Forever. Forever, ever.
Nothing quite says trust and love like having a someone's genetic barcode on your body.
12. Computer love
You don't have to be in the robotics club to admit this is awfully adorable.
13. The OG #relationship goals
Mister and Ms. Pacman were the original #relationshipgoals before John Legend and Chrissy Teigin. 'Nuff said.
14. Perfect fit
Nothing says finding "the one" like getting your Tetris pieces where they need to be, when they need to be there. These two definitely know what love is.
15. This I promise you
If we're being perfectly honest a pinky promise is waaay more meaningful than a promise ring. Just. Saying!
