We, as women, can be blind to the fact that we’re brilliant and beautiful, and we tend to focus on the things we don’t like about ourselves rather than celebrating what we do.
Every one of us has something that’s amazing about us and we’re not always aware of these qualities. We know the things that we’re confident about and try to keep up with staying in shape, going to the salon, and making sure we dress in ways that we feel attractive and comfortable.

We know that we’re much more than our looks; we are intelligent, funny, kind, exciting, surprising, and unique. It can be challenging to be our best selves when there are those who don’t treat us right or even equally, but we continue working, taking care of the people we love, and working to be our best selves.
There are things we do that we don’t even know are endearing and that people find irresistible. You think that when you’re excited about a project, you’re the only one feeling that excitement, and yet, it’s attractive to others to see that being creative energizes you and lights you up from within.
And it isn’t always the showy things we do that gets the attention of others; it can be the tiniest of gestures such as remembering to pick up your partner’s favorite Thai noodles for dinner when you know they’re having an extra challenging day.

You make people’s lives better without knowing how that smile you gave to a stranger really brightened up their day or how remembering to visit your grandmother on her birthday made her feel loved.
