Best. Song. EVER.
‘Tis the season when you can barely go 20 minutes without a Christmas song playing on the radio or being blasted in stores everywhere.
And if you don’t celebrate Christmas, or aren’t a super Christmas-music person, it can get annoying pretty fast.
I too was one of those people … until now.
Because I just found the most AMAZING Christmas song EVER.
For those of you who haven’t seen it yet, it’s an edited version of Chewbacca’s growls put to Christmas music.
Yes, you read that right. The best Christmas song is Chewbacca singing "Silent Night".
It’s the most moving version of the song about baby Jesus. Even I was moved, and I’m an Orthodox Jew!
Apparently, the audio of the song was created by a guy named Scott Andersen in 1999 and in honor of this new Star Wars season and frenzy, he let a guy (the very talented James Covenant) create the masterpiece that is this video for the How It Should Have Ended YouTube channel.
And it is glorious.
What could be more magical than everyone’s favorite, adorable, loyal, caring (remember when he carried a broken C3-P0 on his back???) Wookiee singing?
Have you ever seen or heard anything so magical?
No, no you have not.
So enjoy, have your faith restored in the creativity of mankind, and have a wonderfully happy (and hairy) Holiday Season.
And don’t forget to check out the newest Star Wars movie, Rogue One, which just came out in theaters!
