If you enjoy reading romance novels, then you’re probably familiar with The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks. Of course, there’s also a film version of the novel, which is perfect for watching during sleepovers if you and your friends are in the mood for a tearful love story.
A classic story of a love that doesn’t die, The Notebook is about a romance between a man named Noah and a woman named Allie. In the novel, the two face obstacles in their relationship, like the fact that they’re from two completely different social classes and that Allie’s parents disapprove of her talking to someone of a lower class.
In the book, the two lovers eventually go through a period of separation. Noah and Allie are long-lost loves that readers just KNOW belong to each other. Even when they are separated, their love stays true and strong.
