How To Get Over A Crush

There's nothing like getting all excited about a new crush. Those first initial feelings are so strong and there's so much potential for greatness. You can't stop thinking about all of the different possibilities and envisioning your future together.

Deep down you know it's too early to hear wedding bells chiming or picking out china patterns, but you just can't help it! I mean, really, the daydreams are endless.

So what happens when your idea of a soulmate doesn't want you back? Well, to be honest, it feels like sh*t. But you know this. Pretty much everyone can say that they've felt rejection at one point or another in their life, and no one ever thinks it feels good. It's just not supposed to! It hurts even more when you're being rejected by someone you felt such strong feelings for, though. But, that doesn't mean it's the end of it.

There's nothing like a little revenge to help fix a bruised ego — or dare I say a broken heart. The best way to pick yourself up after a rejection from your crush is to make them regret turning you down with every fiber of their being. And luckily for you, we know exactly how you can accomplish that!

There are three major things you can do to get over a crush who turned you down. The first two steps are incredibly important for setting the trap, and the last step is where you get your sweet taste of revenge. You'll have your crush regretting the day he decided to say no to you before you know it!

Step 1: Make him jealous.

The first step to making your crush hate himself for losing out on you is by making him jealous. In general, people tend to want what they can't have. They think someone is going to be there for them no matter what and are perfectly okay with keeping them around on their own terms. But when they find out you've moved on and are totally over it, it'll just make them realize what they've lost out on.

It won't take much for you to make them insanely jealous — just start spending time with their best friend or find another romantic interest to spend your time with — your crush will be sure to take notice!

2. Become his friend.

Once you've made your crush significantly jealous, you can move on to the next step: becoming friends with him. Your crush is bound to come crawling back, seeking your attention, once you've begun focusing it all on someone new. So, befriend him. Turn the friend zone right back around on them! It may be hard at first to just stay friends with someone you had once developed serious feelings for, but in the big picture, it'll be worth it.

You have to show your crush how truly awesome you really are and what they've been missing out on all along. This is your chance to shine and show them exactly who you are deep down inside.

3. Reject HIM!

So, you've made them jealous, taken advantage of the attention they're now giving you and befriended them, so now it's time for the third and final step: rejection.

By this point, you've made him see that you can do better than him and shown him that he'd be beyond lucky to have someone like you in his life. More than anything, your crush wants a second chance with you, but you've lived and you've learned your lesson. You're not just going to open yourself up for potential rejection from this person again. No way.

It's time for them to feel the pain and heartbreak of rejection. The ultimate way for you to get over your crush by making HIM regret rejecting you is to make it all come full circle — the rejector becomes the rejectee!

Ah, how the tables have turned.

Never again will you feel slighted by a crush who isn't smart enough to realize what they've got when they've got it!
