If You Have THIS Body Shape, Men Never Forget You (Says Science)

sexy body shape is unforgettable
Self, Sex

Turns out there's a science to what makes men remember you...

I have to admit something kind of gross. I think having an hourglass figure is dead sexy.

I know. It feels like an anti-feminist declaration what with all the negative things corsets do to bodies, but look, I like what I like, and it turns out that I'm not alone.

A group of scientists at USC recently conducted a study that proves it's good to be curvy, provided those curves are the right ones.

Yup, there's a "right" kind of sexy curve, and a wrong one. Because god forbid we just go about our lives confidently existing.

The scientists discovered that if a woman has the hip to waist ratio of 0.70, men are much more likely to remember details about her. You know, like eye color, name, their job. Something about that shape triggers the rewards center of a man's brain.

That's right, if you've got a flawless hourglass, a man is literally programmed to remember you in the hopes of getting busy.

It's no small wonder that corseting has never really gone out of style. If I knew all it would take for a dude to retain facts about me was to put on another layer of Spanx I would've started doing just that years ago.

Don't be thrown or too dispirited by that magic number.

Kate Moss is a 0.70, but so is Kelly Brook, and so was Marilyn Monroe. It's got nothing to do with your weight and height. You can be a 0.70 at any size, which is important to remember I think.

If you want to find out your waist to hip ratio (and I strongly suggest not putting yourself through that), relax your stomach, find the narrowest part of your waist and measure it in inches, and then measure the widest part of your hips in inches. Divide your waist measurement by your hip measurement and bam, that's your hip ratio.

It's times like this when I'm super glad that I never learned math.

Another trait men can't seem to forget? A 45 degree curve at the lower back.

Which is how scientists say "a sexy booty that just won't quit."

Of course, these findings are just one facet of what connects men and women. Other factors like you know, shared interests are also deeply critical. So don't rush out and start waist training right now. Whatever your hip to waist ratio may be, chances are you're already perfect.
