Doggy style is a lot of fun, for a lot of reasons. But it's also not our most elegant moment, and there's a LOT going through our heads when it's going down. Sometimes, it's all about mechanics.
"I'm not sure I'm capable of thinking when I'm on the receiving end of doggy style, but when I'm on the giving end, I'm usually thinking about pacing and lubrication. And if my partner is restrained, I'm thinking about whether he's comfortable," says journalist AV Flox. She writes about the science of sex and the way sex intersects with technology.
Sex and technology become very linked when you get more adventurous with sex. But sometimes, it's just about keeping everything flowing ... or, well, not flowing.

We all want to look our best, in every sex position. But obviously, we want our partners to enjoy it as well. That's at least half the point.

3. Do I smell?
4. Did I make sure to shave good back there?
5. If he attempts to do the fingers in the bum, did I eat something gross for lunch that would effect that in some way?
6. Is he going to spank me? I'm OK with it, but he better not do it at a time where I'm not ready for it and it catches me off guard and I jerk a weird way.
7. Should I look back at him? If I do, will I look funny and have an insane double chin?
8. He's pulling my hair, which I'm okay with, but does he know he's doing it so hard that I will have to go to the chiropractor the next day?
9. If he stared at me from the side right now, with my boobs and belly hanging in a weird way, I don't think he would find it arousing.
10. His balls are slapping off my vagina. Weird.
11. OK, he just pulled out or it popped out. Should I back up on his penis? What if I back up too hard and stub it?
12. I have a pain in my leg/hip from my kneecaps sliding on the sheets with each thrust. Should I stop him to re-position myself?
13. I need kneepads.
14. I seriously hope he's not wearing socks while we're doing this. Socks on guys while they're thrusting is no good!
15. I hope I don't have back rolls or a big pimple on my bum.
16. I bet he's making weird faces back there, so it may be for the best that I can't see him.
17. If he cums and it's one of those ones that shoot far, it better not get in my hair because I can't see it coming at me.
