The Porn Men & Women Searched For In 2015 Is Pretty ... Interesting

weheartit 2015 was quite a year, wasn't it? Pornhub definitely thinks so. At the beginning of this year, the popular porn site published their "Year In Review" report, which included an analysis by sex therapist Laurie Betito.
According to the report, they streamed over 4,392,486,580 hours of porn in the last year alone. And the crazy part? The percentage of women viewers in America increased from 2014's 21 percent to 23 percent in 2015.
Dr. Betito believes that this number will continue to increase "as more and more women are feeling empowered about their sexuality and experience less shame in liking sex."
This "Year In Review" report also shows how vastly different men and women's taste in porn is. The top three porn searches for women are:
- Lesbian
- Threesome
- Squirt
This is interesting but not very surprising, since lesbian porn is arguably the most popular ones. As more women — straight or otherwise — continue to come to terms with their sexuality, the more they want to satisfy their curiosity. Thus explaining the increasing interest in woman-on-woman porn, even if they aren't lesbian. What better way to learn about sex than from other women?
Meanwhile, men's favorite porn searches in 2015 were a bit ... different:
- Step-mom
- Teen
- MILF
Pornhub also found that America really wanted to watch celebrities have sex last year. Users searching for "Celebrity sex tape" increased by 553 percent (!!) and became the 12th most searched term.
