True for you?
Compliments are nice, positive statements, yet they can be challenging for some people to receive. There's something in people who don't react well to compliments that seems to scream, "You're not worthy." Or maybe it's that they don't trust the person giving the compliment, like they're being played some way.
The best way to respond when someone to a compliment is to simply say, "Thank you," but some people even feel awkward doing that. This is how you'd react to a compliment according to your zodiac sign.
Aries (March 21 - April 19): You downplay it and say, "Thanks, it was nothing."
Taurus (April 20 - May 20): You don't say anything, and just nod your head yes.
Cancer (June 21 - July 22): You try not to cry and mutter something that sounds like, "Rank tube."
Leo (July 23 - August 22): You say, "Could you repeat that so everyone can hear?"
Virgo (August 23 - September 22): Instead of just accepting the compliment, you feel compelled to compliment them, and suddenly you're in a compliment battle.
Libra (September 23 - October 22): You're so appreciative, that you remember the compliment for a long time, and the person who gave the compliment will be in your good graces for awhile.
Scorpio (October 23 - November 21): You assume that the person doesn't really mean it, or wants something from you.
Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21): You're appreciative ... maybe too appreciative. "Thank you, thank you, thank you," when your doorman says he liked your rain boots.
Capricorn (December 22 - January 19): Compliments are cool, but you need constant deposits in your praise-bank.
Aquarius (January 20 - February 18): It takes you a moment to figure out if the possible compliment giver is sincere, but once you've established that they are, you give them a big smile and say, "Thank you. That's nice of you to say."
Pisces (February 19 - March 20): You're not really paying attention and don't realize that someone gave you a compliment until hours later.
It's best to be gracious, and say, "Thank you" when receiving a compliment. Compliments are small acts of kindness, and should be given and received with gratitude and sincerity.
