You were born with very skimpy brows and you have to fill them in with makeup to make them appear normal. Or, maybe you went on a tweezing rampage and barely have any eyebrows left. Either way, brow extensions are the answer to your beauty problems.

Brow extensions do many things, such as adding definition to lighter brows, filling in over-tweezed brows, taming or reshaping fuller brows, and helping those who have lost their hair due to health problems feel better about their eyebrows.

There are two different application types, one that goes directly on the existing brow hairs, and one that's applied to the skin. The skin applications are generally used for cancer patients and women with conditions like alopecia and hypothyroidism.

Here, brow-professionals use tweezers to dip tiny synthetic hairs into a skin-safe glue. Then, the hairs are individually applied to the skin, not unlike eyelash extensions.

"The applications involve a thorough brow design," says Courtney Buhler, founder of Rectifeye Brows.

Check out these before and after pictures currently flooding the internet. Women who have had the procedure are extremely excited about the results:

The brow extensions last between 2 to 3 weeks.

And the cost ranges from $75 to $350.

Lastly, be careful not to touch your brows, and use an oil-free cleanser so you don't break down the glue.

One of the best things about brow extensions is the lack of pain involved.

"The process is relaxing," says Buhler, "and most women fall asleep." Just think: when you wake up, you'd have amazing, gorgeous brows. No wonder this beauty procedure is trending!
