Attacked For Being A Witch

Apparently, there are still people out there in the world who believe that witchcraft and black magic exists. In Florida, a pregnant woman was recently attacked by her neighbor after she accused her of using witchcraft.

We can't make this sh*t up.

Esther Horton, who is six months pregnant and a mom to a four-year-old boy, said that her neighbor Annie Olumua came charging at her with a rock in hand while she was buckling her son into his car seat. Luckily, she was able to dodge the rock after she threw it (it missed her head and hit her arm) and no one was seriously hurt .

Esther told ActionJaxNews that "[Olomua] has talked about witchcraft and accused us and different people up and down the block of sorcery and things like that but I just kind of blew that off as crazy talk and you know it was harmless but I guess it wasn't as harmless as I thought."

We're glad to hear that she is okay. But this begs the question of why Olomua decided to attack her now, of all times. It's interesting to note that the arrest report mentions that Olomua suspected her family dabbled in black magic but doesn't say what initially tipped her off about their supposed witchery.

We wonder if someone just saw Hocus Pocus for the first time and is taking things a little too seriously?

Be careful out there, people.
